"Laken Riley, an Augusta University nursing student, was found dead Thursday on the University of Georgia campus with signs of blunt force trauma after setting out for a jog that morning. Murder suspect 26-year-old Jose Antonio Ibarra had crossed into the U.S. illegally near El Paso in September 2022 and was paroled into the U.S., officials confirmed Sunday.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) also confirmed that the suspect had also been arrested last year in New York by the NYPD and "charged with acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17 and a motor vehicle license violation."

However, CNN repeatedly discounted any connection between the suspect's immigration status and crime in a Monday report.

"Ibarra’s status as an undocumented Venezuelan migrant is now being touted by several state and national GOP leaders to support their calls for tighter border security – though there is little evidence indicating a connection between immigration and crime," the CNN News outlet reported.

CNN relayed how Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson had called on President Biden to enforce border security and protect Americans following the shocking murder case.

A recent Pew Research Center poll found a majority of Americans believe an influx of illegal immigrants leads to more crime. AND IT HAS!!!

The CNN report disputed this notion, claiming researchers "have found no such connection." In my opinion CNN and other news agencies are being manipulated by Mr Biden and rich Democratic Party. They are NOT reporting as they should - for the American People.

Other news outlets like The Associated Press and Axios have also downplayed the crisis at the U.S. southern border in recent reports. Again, these news agencies, in my opinion are not reporting as they should = truthfully

This should be viewed by everyone- proves evolution which is taught in most schools is fictitious and that our world was created by God and it’s not nearly as old as many scientists believe and gives data to prove this. The presentation helps everyone understand that there was a global flood and that the Bible is true. We must bring the scientific facts back to the classroom that God created the world. This is from a book we are studying in our Men’s Bible study group. I am so sad that parents of children do not have the rights to love and care for their children the way God our Creator intended. I fact checked what Erwin Lutzer stated in this book, No Reason to Hide”. Please pray for our country as we have government leaders that must not be truly to God fearing. And pray for these leaders - that they repent and change their sinful ways asking Jesus to forgive them and then give them courage to lead our country in the way God wants and not the way our current culture wants 😊❤️✝️🙏🏼

It’s so sad. I ask you to pray with me for all those in the world that are persecuted for their faith in Jesus. Jesus said we are to love one another, including our enemies. Men and women have sacrificed their lives for what the American Flag stands for—one nation where every person can live out their God-given rights. Americans may be divided by many different opinions and beliefs, but the Stars and Stripes is a symbol that unites us around our nation’s core values.

The Biden Administration has decided to elevate certain political and cultural agendas above the unifying symbol of the American flag, however. In a recent Pride Month event at the White House, President Joe Biden displayed a pride flag front and center, flanked by two American flags.

In response, Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) introduced the One Flag For All Act. Introduced on Flag Day, the act would prohibit any flag other than the American flag from being flown, draped, or displayed at federal buildings. The few reasonable exceptions under the bill include POW flags and the State flags of congress members at their offices.

“The American flag stands for liberty and justice for ALL and should never be undermined by anyone, especially the President of the United States,” Sen. Marshall stated. “The One Flag For All Act ensures that the American Flag never gets sidelined for culture wars and political points and remains the sole symbol of our nation’s freedom and sacrifices.”

A South Carolina high school valedictorian is going viral for her very faith-based graduation speech. Lydia Owens, who was senior class president in addition to earning her class’ top academic honor, encouraged her classmates with a sentiment you don’t often hear at graduations. She told her classmates that whether they do or don’t accomplish their goals, that is not what defines them.

“Even if you accomplish all of your dreams or none of them at all, you are still valuable and you are still good enough because you are made in the image of God,” she said.

Still valuable. Still good enough. Owens gave her classmates the gift of a message that the world they are about to enter into will certainly not give them.

Owens’ speech was only three minutes long, but it was laden with important truths for her fellow classmates. Despite reaching academic success, she told them that her definition of success in general was completely redefined by tragedy two years earlier when her mom passed away.

“When tragedy struck my life, it was not my grades nor my accomplishments that helped me navigate through that loss. When everything else in my life felt uncertain, the only person I could depend on to stay the same was Jesus,” she testified.

Lydia plans to enter college at Anderson University this fall, where she plans to major in elementary education.

Here was todays devotional word that Is in Hope for Each Day by Billy Graham. It is so true: God is the best promise keeper of all. He sent his Son Jesus to die on a cross for us all. The weight of all our sins was on Him and He gladly went through all this agony and suffering so that all who repent of their sins and acknowledge him has Savior will spend eternity with Him in Heaven. We are all here on earth for a very short time. Do you know where you are going when you die. As soon a death occurs, everyone who believes in Jesus will find themselves immediately before the Lord. That is such a comfort!

This is today’s devotional from Billy Graham’s Hope for Each Day- Words of Wisdom and Truth. We have such an awesome and loving God - who sent his only Son to earth to die of his own will to save us all from our sins. He can not get to Heaven on our own or based on good things we have done. We all do not measure up to God’s requirement of being without sin. We have to depend on Jesus. By His Grace we can have eternal life. We just need to believe in Him as our Savior and repent of our sins… We will then, at the blink of an eye, when we die, will be with Him in Paradis. (Just like He promised to one of the thieves who was also on a cross and asked Jesus to remember him when Jesus enters his kingdom.) Both Deb and I are so looking forward to being with Jesus in Heaven. Yes we will have to die to get there but that is ok. We know what we will have - unending peace, joy, love, and being with our Savior for eternity! ✝️😊😊❤️❤️

Have you ever thought where you will spend eternity after you die. I do hope so as it’s so important. Everyone will either be with God in Heaven or with Saran in Hell. If you are like most everyone you do not think of this. It may be a bit scary, our maybe you do not believe it. But the Bible does discuss it and Jesus in particular had important things to say about it. I highly recommend you seriously give this some thought and if you have not do this already please read the Gospel of John.

Jesus was the Son of God who came to earth as a baby, grew up and had three year ministery, then was crucified and died on a Roman cross and on the third day rose from the dead. He did all this for each one of us because without him doing this no one would be able to go to heaven as God will not allow anyone into heaven if they have not confessed their sins and repented and has given their lives to Jesus. My dear sweet wife and I know the hardships people go though when it comes to cancer. We know all of us are only on this earth a very short time compared to eternity. We recommend to everyone to seek a relationship with Jesus. Belief in Him is the only way to Heaven. May God bless you 😊❤️✝️🙏🏼
