I looked back at photos this morning and could not hold back the tears. Happy tears as I saw puppy after puppy we raised turn into fantastic dogs, remembered beautiful dogs that went on to happy retirement homes, saw families meeting their pups for the first time, read message after sweet message from sweet new owners, and saw my own family growing year by year. There were also sad tears, as I knew this decision, and announcing it, would hit me sooner than later.
Flying T has been a Huge part of our family for many years now, and that time is coming to an end. Most all of you know our daughter Grace has been an integral part of Flying T, and now that she is done with school, started her own business, and is rodeoing mostly full-time, we have definitely been missing her involvement here with the dogs. In September, Hurricane Helene really changed everything though. Our family has been heavily involved in disaster relief since the devastation hit so close to home, and the area my husband works and trains. This work will be ongoing for quite some time. As always, what is best for our dog family has been on the top of our minds. And my heart has been telling me it was time for a transition.
So back to happy tears!! As He has been doing in many areas of our lives, God provided the perfect answer for us....we have dear friends we have known for many years, and know our dogs very well, that will be taking over the Flying T herd. Maddy & Dustin Bertero with Smokin’ Aces Aussies will be taking our beloved program forward, and I know will be making it even more fantastic! They have the knowledge and time to dedicate to the dogs, and I'm extremely blessed to be able to stay involved with them to make sure this transition is smooth for all! And the good news for those that have been waiting for pups, is that there are two litters that should be due in February!!
So, from the very bottom of our hearts, we thank each and every one of you that has become apart of the Flying T family, and loves one of our special pups as a part of their family. We thank you for your trust, and hope that you will go Like and follow Maddy's page and show them the same love and support you have always shown us. God bless you all!

Pupdate! Check out Raylan, formerly Clint Black from the Houston x Tink "Western Singers" litter! Our pups are exposed to cats early on here, and looks like Raylan remembers and is definitely enjoying his feline friend !!!!🥰❤️🐾🐈❤️

Rigatone went to heal some hearts with this sweet family who recently lost their beloved dog! All things work out as they should, and although I'm sad for his original family...I'm excited he's got so many new siblings to love on him now!!🥰 Go have a great life Rig!!🥰

UPDATE!! Rigatone has been claimed by a sweet family in Statesville that recently lost their beloved pet!! This boy will be going home to them next week and bringing them lots of smiles and joy!! ❤️ ❤️
Let me tell you about this guy! He is beyond adorable...in personality and looks!! He is playful, sweet, and smart! He is 9 weeks old and although his original family plan just fell through.....we know his perfect family is looking for him!' Extra-motivated for him to go to his new home as soon as possible! This puppy pick-up made my heart so happy!!!🥰😍❤️ Love our Flying T families and seeing these babies of the Greeley x Paxton "E" Litter meet their new parents, and knowing they get to grow up nearby each other .....and that Emmet got to go home and also meet his cool big bro .bodieaussie .....was just the BEST feeling!! I felt like I could remember exactly the moment they met Bodie 2 1/2 years ago!! 🥰 And thank you to both sweet families for the sweet cards and gifts...y'all are just awesome!🥰 Can't wait for pupdates!!

The Pasta litter puppies started going to their wonderful new homes this week!! So sweet to see the first meetings!! 🥰 Sweet Ziti is still here with us for a little bit longer...she got hurt while turned out to play and had to get some stitches, so she is healing up before making her trip to Florida soon..and getting extra-spoiled!!

Well, big plan change for this little cutie this morning! The family who claimed him after birth has had a major life change and will not be able to pick him up this weekend as planned. So sad for them, and really hoping to find his forever home very soon! He is 8 weeks old, and such a little sweetheart!! Red Merle male, Mesa x Paxton...going to have an incredible coat and now available to a wonderful pet home! We know everything happens for a reason and that his perfect family is out there!! "Hi there. I wanted to give you all an update on Bristol (The Andy Griffith Litter). He’s doing great. After a pretty tough puppy stage he has become such a good boy. He loves running in our big yard. He’s still working on immediately returning from a run when being called. Everyone that meets him thinks he’s so beautiful. He is also protective in the sense that his bark sounds nasty but he wouldn’t hurt a fly. He instantly wants to be someone’s friend upon meeting them. He is my shadow. He follows me everywhere around the house. I love him to pieces."

This Flying T family has been busy the past couple months!! Sophie is a pup from Houston x Lady from a few years ago....proud of her because these are exactly the types of goals she had when she purchased Sophie..//so happy to see her accomplishments, 🥰check out these pupdates: "Sophie’s son, Chug earned best of breed puppy in the UKC Aiken show. There was no herding group, but he competed in best in show puppy as well."
