This is a handsome young horse. Again, I love the mare he is out of "Uptown Girl". He looks like he needs to grow into himself a bit and that will help his over all balance. He looks like he will be a nice size. He is a nice athletic mover with solid angles. He is a little short in the neck and his head a little coarse. With the good brain and consistancy in his breeding he will be really nice hunter/equitation horse!

This pony is adorable and priceless! He looks very sweet and most importantly safe! This little rider has a lot going for her as well. She looks confident and strong! She is ready to start perfecting her technique for the show ring! First Work on getting into her two point position over the jump. Second practice checking and correcting her diagonal inbetween the jumps and around the corners. These two things will prepare her for the next step of cantering the course!! Great job! I loved watching these two!

This ia lovely OTTB just learning his new job as a hunter. The rider is doing exactly the right thing by trotting in and cantering out. This will help him not only gain confidence but discipline as well. Her release and follow through are very good to help him have a naturally good jump. I cant wait to see what the future holds for this young prospect. The Take 2 Thoroghbred program was developed just for horses like this!

I like a lot about this rider.Specificaly her rein length and consistancy of the line from her elbow to the horses mouth. This is very important with this horse that has alot of blood and wants to be a bit squirmy! She does a good job staying disciplined. She could be stronger in her base and lower leg. This would stop her from driving with her seat and help her have a littlle more control when needed. That in turn is when she will be ready to move up to bigger jumps! This is a cool horse and looks like they could be super fast in a jump off! Keep working on straighness and track!! Great job!

This is a very nice round. I love the straightness and dedication to the track achieved by this rider. She has a very good eye and this round was very consistant and solid. The riders hands are a bit high and she is weak in her base specifically her inner thigh. Gaining strength in this area will help her hand become more independent from her body. That will allow for a smoother release and less abrupt recovery on landing. A very nice round overall and a great combination!!

I like a lot about this horse and rider!. Thing ring appears to be a bit small and square and that can be challenging with what appears to an OTTB learning his/her new career!! This horse is very cute and wants to do the right thing. I also appreciate the height of the jump as being the highest of our group! The in to the outside line he appears to have gotten away from her and jumped over his front end. Coming towards home maybe anticipating him bearing down with a half halt before thepoint of the turn could help with that!. The out of the bending line across the middle is what hurt them. They got there a bit on the half stride and there was a miscommunication and he left without her and a bit of 3 leg departure we call it. But please note I appreciate the degree of difficulty! I would love to see this pair in a different arena and with maybe a little more bit , perhaps a notch tighter in the martingale or more solid half halts in the turns to better balance him at the base of the jump. A very nice athletic horse , lots of potential!!

This is a very nice pony/rider combination! The pony is a great mover and jumper. I like how straight and even the pony is and jumps some very pretty jumps. The first three jumps were perfection. The pony then gets behind the riders leg and adds a stride into the outside line which appears to cause an add in correct number of strides required. The same thing happens at the hay bale jump. The rider needs to be very dilligent about keeping this pony in front of her leg so that she always has options out of the turn. This will ensure a more consistant round and a lot more blue ribbons for this pair!
