We are seeking a highly motivated animal lover to join our team and provide exceptional care for pets and their owners at Animal Hospital of Millville in Millville, New Jersey! Our AAHA accredited hospital is passionate about providing high-quality care to cats, dogs, and small exotics. We even have three birds that have permanent residences with us!
Our close-knit team absolutely loves animals! We have a bright facility in the center of the city with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Our staff’s wellbeing is our very top priority, which is why we offer flexible scheduling and a one-hour break in the middle of the day to catch up on paperwork and enjoy an uninterrupted lunch. We are open Monday through Friday, Saturday until 2:00pm, and closed Sundays. Our town is also home to the Motorsports Park which attracts racers, go-carts, vendors, and frequent weekly events!
Working as a Veterinarian for us means complete autonomy in your medicine, a true rarity in the veterinary industry. We believe in your education and feel passionate about supporting you in utilizing the skills acquired in your rigorous training. Use your skills how you see fit to meet medical standards, not dictated by anyone else. There are new advancements in medicine and treatment every day, and we highly encourage our doctors to stay up to date on progressions in medicine so that they are continually growing and learning with us. You will be provided a generous Continuing Education allowance to explore emerging programs you are interested in, such as laser therapy, acupuncture, and programs for advancing dental and surgical skills. In addition, we offer three additional medical days per year to use for Continuing Education programs.
Teamwork is everything to us, which is why you will have complete access to our growing network of licensed professionals at our practices throughout the Northeast. Our goal is for the Licensed Veterinarian to cultivate a professional, positive working environment with ample mentorship opportunities for staff, in addition to a warm, welcoming environment for pets and their owners.
Above everything else, the best person for this job is a team player with a willingness to learn and adapt. In our industry, no day is the same and being ready to jump in to assist other team members in the veterinary setting is crucial.
