Saturday at Suwannee Valley Kennel Club

Griner had about the same day as yesterday. Although he was excused for not standing still for his exam, the judge had wonderful things to say about him. Once we get the show manners under control I think he’ll be a fun one to show with. Amy Watson

Griner’s first day showing as Bred By and got Reserve Winners Dog. No points but Judge Mrs. Cindy Stansell allowed a nice broken up exam and go around for this new boy. I highly recommend her as your first judge for your newbies. She was so thoughtful and kind to Mr. Griner on his first day. Amy Watson

Ruth has earned her retirement! I’ve decided to let this girl go to a furever home. She’s sweet natured and will love an active family.

Ruth is 4 years old and will be spayed prior to her new home. Full hearing, excellent hips, normal elbows, and normal vision with no indication for eye disease according to genetic testing.

She is cat friendly and a people lover. As long as she has met a dog with supervision she is great, but is extremely cautious with new dogs.

She has excelled in dock diving, introduced to fast cat and would do fantastic in trial, started on sheep herding, and had a fun show career up to 2 years of age. I think her most fun sport has been scent work. Shes trained with deer blood, but is still early enough in the game to switch to another scent if needed. Her nose never lies!

Yes she is not perfect. She comes with quirks like any dog! I think my biggest pet peeve would be her “nooking” behavior because sometimes it leaves holes in her blankies. She also is too smart for her own good! She is kept kenneled for safety purposes and is inside potty trained. I would not trust her to be left out, but I also don’t give mine a chance to get in trouble. Leashed trained and an angel at the vet since I work at one.

Coolaroo dog cots offer replacement material for fairly cheap!. Rather than wasting a whole bed or trying to DIY, I ordered these with a simple and quick install. Highly recommend this cot brand! And these old ones lasted 2.5 years!!

Churchill (was moon) on his first snow day in California. He looks like a silver wolf. Reminds me of Ruth so much with a Rip head. Another handsome boy!!

Pizza!!! Sometimes I kick myself for not keeping some of these pups. But remind myself I can’t be selfish, gotta share them with the rest of the world! I’ve met some great owners and happy they are a part of the Turquoise family. Here’s your happy, HANDSOME pizza at 9 months old.

Griner (was Tux) joined Jade and I on a show adventure. We cheered on our cattle dog friends from ringside. Hoping to get this boy IN the ring soon. He took everything in and left a happy boy with a tummy full of duck treats!
