My mom passed away at home in East Lansing. She was a force of creativity, focus and love.
My only solace is that she is somewhere cackling with my bestie Michelle Rogers, who I lost last month, and Dame Maggie Smith, two of her favorite women.
I will miss her.
Hug the women in your life and tell them you love them. Make and do plans with them while you can.

A Lifetime Love of Dogs!

I have always preferred the company of animals, even as a child I would prefer time outdoors with animals to being cooped up in front of the TV. After graduation, I could finally pursue my dreams of working with animals. I attended The Bel Rae Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, where I learned about pet medical care, then I attended the Mid-Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology where I learned about pet grooming, finally I attended the Arizona Canine Academy where I learned about dog behavior and training.

Over the years, I have used all my skills at Vet Clinics, Dog Day Cares and Grooming Salons and gained invaluable knowledge form being hands on in the field for almost 2 decades. Now that my husband and I are settled in Kansas City, I am merging my love of dogs and nature once again in KC K9 Hikers. There is nothing that makes me happier then that, and life is too short to not live as happily as possible!
