No better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than with books and dogs 🫶🏼📚🐾

Our Urban Adventures led us to Barnes and Noble today where we got to work on lots of CGC skills, settling, lots of love, and most importantly PUP CUPS 🍦(you should have seen the baristas face when I asked for FIVE pup cups 😂)

I love being able to create a very non judgmental and inclusive space for our handlers to come together and just train their dogs without worrying about mistakes, hiccups, or set backs. Plus we make the best cheerleaders to celebrate those successes together as well!

📚Urban Adventures - Advanced Group Class at Barnes and Noble 📚

Come join us for this small group class where we can work on our real world skills that include practicing our neutrality, leash skills, settling, CGC skills and more! This is perfect for our service dogs in training and more advanced pet dogs who can behave well in public but could use some more practice/guidance. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions on if you and your dog might be a good fit!

Due to being in a public space this class spots are very limited, ensuring we don’t take up too much space and are able to respect the establishment we use for training!

We were thriving in chaos at Bass Pro Shop today for our Urban Adventures class 🐟🐾

Bass Pro was BUSY BUSY and these dogs all rocked it! Lots of other dogs, people and just general chaos and we were able to work through it, practice our neutrality, settling, leash manners, and just overall mindset while being in this crazy environment! 🫶🏼

Not too many pictures since it was so busy, but please enjoy the chaos of getting 6 dogs and humans together for a group picture while the wind is busy trying to blow us all away!

We are LOVING the warmer weather and I’m so excited to have this space all set up to soak up the sunshine ☀️

We spent an hour out here practicing our settling on place while listening to the sounds of the city and practicing neutrality with each other 🫶🏼

Urban Adventures Group Class 🐾🦮

This class is perfect for our service dogs, service dogs in training, and more advanced pet dogs! Spots are LIMITED as I want to ensure this class stays small and positive for all without taking up too much space within the public area. Thank you to .buckybarnes and for joining in on our first Opt In class tonight! We were able to go over cooperative care starting behaviors and start teaching a chin rest as well as worked on some body handling skills related to nail trims and paw handling! ✋🏼

Special shout-out to who was my excellent demo dog in teaching the chin rest and then turned into a cuddle puddle of adorableness for the rest of class 🫶🏼

What are some of your goals for the New Year with your dogs?

For me my goals for 2025 is to earn my Fear Free Training Certificate as well as officially launch my Service Dog Public Access Test! Genesis’ goals are to earn her final two Fit Dog titles, finish up her PT/hydrotherapy, and hopefully finally get into doing therapy dog work! 🐕

✨️Group Class Schedule for January✨️

Start the new year off right with some dog training! I tried to vary class days so hopefully there will be a day or two thats works for you!

All classes will meet via Zoom and are open to all! We will be utilizing positive reinforcement only techniques in these classes

My Drop In classes (Get Tricky and Opt In) are planned in a way that you can attend all or just one and still be able to follow along easily and learn something new! These will include a training warm up with a pattern game, introduction to the trick/co-op care skill we will be working on that day, and plenty of time for questions and problem solving! I will also post what skill we will be working on before the class starts and email participants of required items needed for the class, which will always be something you can easily find at home!

Playing With Patterns is my new webinar style class! This will mostly lecture stye class with some opportunities to practice said games with your pup! This class is designed to help share all my favorite pattern games that I use with dogs on a daily basis and how to teach them as well as how to incorporate them into your everyday life!
*Please note I am not a Control Unleashed Certified Instructor (I wish lol), I am just very passionate about these games and love the impact they have on our dogs!*

A HUMONGOUS THANK YOU FOR OUR CHRISTMAS PRESENT!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

I am so insanely grateful for all the support everyone gives us everyday, and this really is just the cherry on top to end the year on such a high note 🤗 Obviously pink is our thing and we’ve been wanting a hot pink ruffland for years now and now this one will hold an even more special place in our hearts since it’s from our amazing clients and friends ❤️
