It’s been a rough day for Carmen. Her blood pressure kept dropping dangerously low resulting in her needing another plasma transfusion. Since the transfusion she’s been stable. The blood panels and GI panels have not come back yet and the doctors still aren’t sure exactly what is causing the issues with her blood pressures and fluid build up.

Carmen is still fighting though, so we don’t want to give up on her. We have already used up $6000 of the $10000 deposit that was put down for her. It will not take long to use the rest. We are begging for help. It would be devastating for us to get Carmen this far and then not be able to continue because we don’t have the money. Thus far fundraising efforts have only brought in about $2200. That is nowhere near enough to cover her medical bills. Please help us so we can continue Carmen’s care. It literally is a matter of life or death.

URGENT!! PLEASE SHARE!! Jack needs a new home, or foster asap. . His owner recently became homeless. He is 9 years old and neutered. Due to his age (and possibly his large size 😆), he does have trouble with his hips sometimes. He has gotten into a spat with his sibling 2 times and that's been the only exposure around other dogs.. None of the family members can take him, and shelters are full. He is currently living under a canopy in a friend's yard. He is being kept out of the elements, with food and water, but an old man and a dog thats used to living inside, doesn't deserve that. On top of that, he lost his owner and im sure is devastated! Please share, especially to your boxer loving friends! Any negative comments will be deleted so don't waste your time. Oh, and his bday is Nov 13th. 2013. Hopefully he will be spending his 10th bday, in a loving home! Location is Johnstown Pa.

This is Moose. Aka Moosey, Moosey-Goosey. Another one of the Sweetest pitbulls you'll ever meet! He's been vacationing at my home for about 3 years. He was a spunky, silly, full of life, happy guy.. who loved his deer antlers, when I met him. He was a solid chunk of a pitbull, strong and soft. In the past year, his health has rapidly declined. We saw glimpses of the old Moose while he was here last week. He is now frail and sleeps a lot. His owners have gone to great lengths to help this boy. Spending money on vet visits, stays, and meds. They have loved him beyond measures! The girls made sure he was always covered up with a blanket, they shared any food they were eating, we made him his own pb sandwiches, and we did lots of cuddling! I never know when the last time will be, that I see these animals, but I only hope they know how much we loved them ❤️ Katie Rozwat

One of my favorite boys crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. He had the best pet parents, they went above and beyond for him. I'm def going to miss seeing him every summer..but will never forget his sweet soul 💔💔

My clients pets, become my own. I had a rocky start with this guy. The first few visits that I watched him... Getting the leash on him was a task, he'd growl and try to bite me 😆. It's been 4 years with Max. As time went on, he started to trust me. He trusted the girls. We took him for short walks, we played fetch up and down the hallway, and he barked and barked until we gave him a treat. He watched out the window and greeted me at the door. Bouncing around, tail wagging. The last time I saw him, was last summer. A happy, spunky, playful boy... so excited to see me! His owner has kept me updated. Max has declined. In a short time, he has lost his hearing, vision and is currently wearing diapers. I cant tell if he knows its me..but I am so thankful that I was able to be a part of his life... but the heart ache is real. I miss the boy I first met.. and I hope he will always remember me 🥺. Here's to sleeping in mom and dads bed, in the closet, lots of treats and running up and down the hallway, chasing toys. Love you Max!

This is Mikey. Halfway into our 15-minute walk, he decided he didn't want to walk anymore 🤦‍♀️. The walk back was slow and took twice as long 😆

Mikey is a very active boy who enjoys his time outside with someone. Mikey would benefit from a quiet low traffic home with no children or other dogs. During cat evaluations Mikey did not seems to be bothered by our feline friends. He is a great walker and is just looking for someone to bond with. If you are looking for a new best friend, inquire about Mikey!

I got to walk this guy today. His name is Joker and is approximately 1.5 years. He didn't show me much of his personality today.. apparently he has just started to come out of his shell. He really enjoyed being out and has since gotten better on the leash. He is currently at the Bedford County Humane society. Here is his story...

This strong handsome boy came from an abandoned motel with another one of our dogs here at BCHS. It is believed that Joker was unfamiliar with a leash, and a loving touch. His leash manners are being worked with. There is still some excessive pulling, but once he realizes that pulling gets him nowhere he will allow himself to walk decently on his leash. Patience and consistency is needed for his future home. Joker came in with another dog so we are hopeful a home with another dog is likely. During cat assessment Joker kind of melted to the floor and seemed terrified. Slow and frequent introductions will be continued to further assess this.

This is Murphy. He's 4 months old, with siblings. He came from a home that had 20 dogs. He's very shy and timid. He loved rolling around and laying in the grass. Makes you wonder how much time he's even spent outside 🥺. He's currently at the Bedford County Humane Society!

This is Harley. He's a chunky that needs an owner that likes to walk.. He's short and stubby, like Curtis. He came in with another dog, and unfortunately, their owner passed away. He's is approximately 6 years old and is mild mannered and walks great on a leash. He is currently at the Bedford County Humane Society 🥰
