Meet Gaia! This adorable Pomeranian's mom will not be training her in English, so we're also learning new words! How many languages does your dog know? Our own dogs know English, some German, leash communication & hand signals (and the occasional choice word in Spanish 🤣)
Tyson the Frenchie had most of his left lower jaw removed to treat oral cancer. But within 8 weeks, it somehow grew back.
Reason #867 why I never leave my dogs unattended outdoors. You never know what may be out there, even if your property is fenced. If we didn't regularly play together outdoors - the dogs may have been more focused on sniffing and doing their own thing rather than hanging close to me.
Glad I found this spent fireworks casing before the dogs did. It's a windy day here, so it likely fell from the canopy of trees 🫤. Part of the aftermath of the fireworks that last well into the New Year around here.
So stay out there with them! At the very least, they get to p*e with a friend. Maybe leaving a toy outside for an impromptu game of fetch will keep your dogs far more interested in you rather than finding explosives in your yard 🙃
Do you know how to have a great realtionship with your dog? It starts with learning what your dog loves and then using those fun things to build a great relationship with them. Rufus couldn't sit still, focus or follow directions when we met him. This is no dig on his mom - she was trying to do the best she could with a high-drive, energetic hunting dog. I'd say it's going well now!

Having a little fun with position changes. Training is like a dance you get to do with your best friend. With my crazy schedule, Mina and I work-in training times when we can. This was a short trip to let her potty and we got right into it. Finding 3 minutes to practice fun games with your dog a few times a day isn't a big ask. I want your dog's world to be bigger so they can go to more places with you and live a full life. But you can't rush the process.
