Love, Consistency, Patience Hiya! My name is Derek, and I'm a former software developer turned dog trainer. I have lived with and cared for dogs since birth.

I have experience with many breeds, including labs, newfoundlands, bichons, german shepherds, and golden retrievers. I have also cared for elderly dogs with special needs. I have two newfies of my own, Bernie and Savannah, each weighing in at about 120lbs. If I can handle them, I can handle any dog! Working with software has taught me to be consistent and careful, while translating client needs in

to actionable tasks has taught me intuition and empathy. I bring all these skills and more for you and your dog!
