It’s been awhile, but I’m back to painting! This was my latest commission for an AirBnB in Maine. This was one of those commissions that was brought to me as more of a concept rather than an actual image to recreate. This always brings a fun new challenge to painting, as I wouldn’t exactly call myself creative (oddly enough). I have a much easier time working from an actual image and recreating it with my own twist.
Anyways, I can’t wait to see how this one is styled in its new home!

I’ve been a little MIA - I’m spinning my wheels at work and haven’t had as much time as I’d like to dedicate to my passion. This is my latest project that’s taken way too long to complete 😅. There are still plans to epoxy and frame these, but I wanted to put them out there in case anyone is looking for a unique and thoughtful gift this holiday season. These paintings are based on the gorgeous summer views in Cripple Creek, CO. They can be sold separately or as a pair.

Anxiously awaiting closing on our new home and finally getting to work on some new paintings again! We’ve been living in an Airbnb for the past two months, so painting has been a no go. I’ve just about sold out of my current paintings, including this one who just found its new home in Michigan. Stay tuned for new pieces **hopefully** coming soon!!

Over the years I’ve had many customers have me design them tattoos or ask for my permission to use one of my designs for a tattoo, but this week, for the first time, someone has actually sent me a picture of the tattoo they got! I was SO stoked to get this message the other day. A customer sent a picture of an in-progress tattoo that not only features a design of mine, but ALSO features my adorable little Ted man!
If you want to warm an artist’s heart, sending pics of how your art has been used and/or enjoyed is the best way to do so 🥰.

For some reason I’ve had endless energy lately to draft ideas digitally, but it’s the actually sitting down, putting on an apron, and putting paint brush to canvas that I’ve been lacking energy for. I have so many ideas, and I know that once I get to painting I won’t be able to stop, but for some reason just getting set up and sitting down to do it has not happened.
Which of these three is your favorite? I’ll start there 😉.
