The food transition is a change in the diet, and this must be done in a
gradual. We place great emphasis on this both before you receive your order and after. That is why we will send you a personalized guide with all the steps you must follow and the daily amounts that correspond to it. Throughout the process you will not miss any type of information and you can always contact us if you have any questions.

Each animal has a different intestinal flora depending on its diet and the nutrients that make it up, and this bacterial flora is sometimes very sensitive to sudden changes. If our dog is used to eating a food, it will have its own flora, and if we change it, what is called bacterial dysbiosis occurs.
This supposes an imbalance of the intestinal flora, producing overgrowth of pathogenic (“bad”) bacteria and microorganisms, which are the ones that would cause problems intestinal, and with them what we see: diarrhea, flatulence, mucus in the stool, etc.

Our furry ones have a stomach pH of 1, one of the highest in nature, being scavengers first. It is due to this high pH that when they are fed a raw natural BARF diet (bones included), this high pH protects them🐕
The opposite occurs when a dog is fed kibble, feed, etc., since the pH is alkalinized, making them weaker and vulnerable to severe bacterial infections.
Remember that dogs are carnivores🥩
In a wild habitat, they hunt, or feed on a carcass. For this reason they must have an acid pH, this is essential to protect them from any gastric infection, in addition to being able to digest bones, viscera, cartilage. They are biologically fit for it🍗

There are certainly many myths and beliefs associated with the benefits of low-protein diets for maintaining healthy kidneys. The protein is mistakenly associated with kidney damage, but nothing could be further from the
truth. Despite the efforts of dog nutrition specialists and scientists to debunk this myth, it still exists, and with a high level of confidence.
For example, the fact of ignoring that dogs are carnivores, or considering that a dog can be vegan.
There is sufficient bibliographic information that shows that diets high in quality protein are healthy and ideal for dogs, regardless of whether they are puppies or an older adult, or their breed, size, or activity.🐕

Dogs’ normal body temperature is slightly higher than that of humans (it hovers at around 101.5° F), which means that hotter temperatures can affect them more💦

This is why you need to take care while walking your dog on a hot day. Also, don’t forget about the pavement if you’re taking your dog for a walk—the ground heats up fast in the sun and can be painful on dogs’ unguarded feet🐾

Not to mention, dogs have that thick layer of fur. So a day that may not seem overwhelmingly hot to you can be a scorcher for your dog. That’s why you need to be especially careful of these warning signs of heatstroke in dogs🐩

Anxiety, tachycardia and even death can cause fireworks to explode in our furry friends🎆
If we refer to furry canines, the subject of fireworks is quite serious.
What for humans is fun, beautiful and even fanciful, for them is a great threat. Literally a nightmare, which produces restlessness, anxiety and great confusion🥺
Very extreme cases can be presented, such as stories of furry friends who have died of a heart attack, as a result of the explosion of fireworks, or cases where they have been run over trying to flee from the panic caused by the detonations.

Cats are strict carnivores, their diet consists of animal protein, this provides the necessary nutrients to live and have quality of life😺

Kittens are usually quite select, they choose their food according to the following
parameters:
• First is the sense of smell. The aroma is what will define acceptance, if it is pleasant, attractive, it will be part of its intake.
• In second place of importance we can place, sight and touch, therefore the texture and shape, will be of importance. The cat is a very curious mammal, it is vital that it feels attracted, that (this food) powerfully
attracts its attention, in terms of texture, it is essential that it is compatible with its digestive physiology. The tongue plays an important role in terms of exploration, due to its sensitivity🐱

🧐There is a topic that has been debated among professionals, is whether the dog is a carnivore or an omnivore
In a way, it could be located in the middle of both, making the following caveat: It is not an omnivore, but neither is it a strict carnivore like the cat.
The proper terminology could be facultative carnivore or scavenger. This means that it is vital that your diet is based on products of animal origin🥩
At the same time, it is capable of surviving on plant-based foods, but this is not the same as developing healthily and surviving🥬

Don’t forget that dogs don’t experience the full breadth of emotions that humans do, so if you’re trying to train or admonish your dog, taking an angry tone and a very loud voice might just make him skittish🗣
According to Hartstein, “your prosodic of speech, tone, rhythm, [and the] pitch of your voice is far more important” than what you’re actually saying🐕
That’s also a big part of the reason why dogs respond positively to that high-pitched cute-pet speak🧐

If your furry has a poor diet, this type of behavior is likely to appear. The absence of vitamins and minerals, make him look in his own f***s, those of other canine companions or even in human waste (baby diapers)💩

It's actually quite a scatological topic, but no less important when it comes to your furry child. For this reason, although it is not easy to understand why my furry dog has such an unpleasant behavior, the most important thing is to consult the veterinarian and do the necessary studies🤓

All pets need regular exercise to stay fit and to release their energy🎾
Without it, your pet will begin to act out.
Young pets that do not get enough exercise are more likely to develop negative behavioral issues that lead many to give up their pet🐕‍🦺

Sweet potatoes can be a great addition to your dog’s food (in moderation, of course). When dogs eat sweet potatoes they’re getting a rich source of antioxidants, vitamin A, and fiber, among others🐕

If you are going to give your dog sweet potatoes (or any kind of potato, for that matter), they must be cooked. Raw sweet potatoes will cause stomach upset. Raw white potatoes are especially toxic because they come from the nightshade family, which contain a poisonous compound called solanine🐕‍🦺

📱Always consult with your vet
