There is a sweet donkey at Bowie she is limping a bit. Nothing terrible. Probably just needs proper rest and/or just a rock or abscess in her hoof.

I will be at Bowie picking up today at noon if anyone wants to save this sweet girl.

My name is Whiskey. I am a Morgan Gelding that is about 15 years old. I am 14.2 hands and broke to ride. I love to go out on the trails and ride in the open. I love to snuggle and eat treats. I get along with other horses. I am currently in a pen with donkeys, a mare and a gelding. Asking thirteen hundred carrots.

My name is Dakota. I am looking for my forever home or someone that is looking to start some training with me. I would make a good show horse starting with halter. I am about 8 months old filly and came from the kill pen here in Oklahoma. When I first showed up to the rescue I was wild and wanted nothing to do with people I have started letting people pet me and come for treats. I have been worked in my stall with some halter work and still working on it but I want to learn and trust. I just had a rough start in life with ending up in the kill pen. Asking six hundred carrots.

My name is Bolt. I am looking for my forever home or someone that is looking for a horse to train. I am a 2 year old draft cross gelding. I don't have the full height of a draft but do have the head of one. I was saved from the kill pen after being brought there because I had a massive cut on my leg. That has been healed and does not bother my walking at all. I have been started with some halter training.
But I am ready to learn more. I like to be in your back pocket when you have treats. I am almost completely filled back out. I have been around other mares and gelding as well as donkeys and goats. Asking five hundred carrots. Photos are from fall. He has finished putting on weight and has his winter coat in now.

We have 8 donkeys that are looking for their forever homes. Let me know if you’re interested and I can give some more information. There are two that are very bonded and must go together.
All have been fully quarantined for several months and healthy.

We will be heading to stroud this week to pickup. We have three available spots on the trailer. We have 4 open horse stalls.
I have attached the prices below. Remember this includes there wormer and Triple Crown Grain and Total equine grain. If a pregnant or mom and baby pair they also get mare and foal.

🐴$17 per day horses
🐴$13 per day minis/donkeys ( includes mini and pony grain)
🐴 $14 per day ponies 13.2 hands to 14.2 hands (includes mini and pony grain)
🐴 $18 per day drafts
🐴 $18 per day mare/foal pairs (includes mare and foal grain on top of total equine)
🐴 $18 stallions

Two of our current residents. The filly has been learning some trust with humans. She is just a baby and has a rough go around already. Both girls have some amazing color to them.

Now that we have settled down with the newborn we are starting pickups again at Stroud Kill Pen.

I will be heading to Stroud Kill Pen tomorrow and have room on the trailer and stalls. There are a lot of good looking horses at the lot right now.

We are currently under another tornado watch as we have been most of the week and today being the worse. We have all horses tagged, an updated picture with tags, and then put in the safest area possible on our property. We notify the owners and send them the photos also. This is the protocol we take when we have this severe weather.

We feed the following feed to our horses:
Teff hay and amazing grass hay that the horses love.
Triple Crown Senior for all our horses that need weight, have teeth issues or just for our seniors.
Total Equine is fed to everyone.
Purina Mare & Foal for our minis and pregnant mare and our mom and baby pairs.

For horses that have no teeth. Yes we get a lot of them!! We mash there grain and also either provide them with soaked alfalfa pellets or Chaffhaye.
