At Bentwind Giants we breed Giant Schnauzers. Our dogs are well-cared for members of our family and well-socialized by our young grandsons.

Our dogs and puppies are vet checked and vaccinated. We provide good nutrition, exercise, and a loving environment.

Black or Brown? Lol. So I have a friend (whom I won't name) tell me she thought I had black Giant Schnauzers...but my pictures show "Brown" Giants? Nope, the heat lamp light in the whelping box is a red bulb making everybody "appear" brown. So "No" there is not a new color I'm raising. Sire, Dam and babies are all that beautiful shiny black. Bahaha! Been raising Giants for years and there's never a dull moment! I may have to go buy a "white" heat bulb though.🤣 Glad she said something though, who knew.😉

Rebel is a new "Angel Therapy Dog" for Madonna Rehab!

Asher and Medjai's pups have such great "People Skills" and dispositions.

If you've been somewhere visiting when a Therapy Dog comes, you know the smiles and joy they bring.

It's amazing how a great team can bring so much happiness in a visit.

Keep up the good work, Angel's indeed!

Our Giants are AKC registered and our puppies all come with AKC registration. We love and are very proud of our dogs.

● Be wary of any breeder that says "We just don't sell our pups with AKC papers".

If you are looking at a pup of any breed from AKC registered parents, their pups should come with AKC registration papers too. If they don't, ask to see the parents AKC registration papers.

Why you ask...?

● AKC "Full Registration" papers have a purple border and their pups are all eligible for registration.

● AKC "Limited Registration" papers have an orange border. These dogs are usually sold as a pet (for considerably less) not meant to be bred, therefore, if bred, their pups are "Not Eligible" for AKC registration. (Yes - the original breeder of the AKC registered litter can change status from "Limited to Full")

Be cautious, If those individuals are breaking their word with the breeder they bought from ... and most are charging just as much ... are they ethical, are they trustworthy?

Breeders of AKC registerable pups strive to breed sound, healthy pups .

Enough said, lol. There are still lots of people who forget to even register their pup.

Just wanted to share things to look for when you are looking to add a new furry member to your family.
