They sit longer in shelters, waiting, often judged before they have a chance, and are the most euthanized breed in the country 💔 We have just a corner of the world we can make a difference in, and these seven beautiful faces are who we will fight for next.

🐾Penny is 2 years old and has been with us for 200 days.
🐾Crystal is 3 years old and has been with us for 119 days
🐾Bustamite was born here with us, 109 days ago.
🐾Cinnabar was born here with us, 109 days ago.
🐾Earth is 7 months old and has been with us for 160 days.
🐾Venus is 7 months old and has been with us for 160 days.

All dogs must be current on the following vaccines: rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). Proof of vaccination must be provided.

‼️📢 Cats Alive SLV will be trapping feral cats in the area of the Kiva Apartments near West 8th Street in Alamosa beginning next week. If you live within a half mile (about 10 blocks) of the area and want to ensure your favorite felines aren’t accidentally rehomed, please send a photo and/or description to Marge at 719-480-9475. Collars on your kitties will also be helpful!
