Well it was a great experience meeting you all in Arizona and having you interact with the animals. We have relocated to Texas in the Wichita Falls area now and the critters are all doing fine. If you are ever in he area give us a call, the critters always like a few scritches now and then. If you have a need to visit with critters in Arizona please give our friends a call at the Tucson Petting Zoo / Funny Foot Farm, Some of our guys are there as well as many others. Funny Foot Farm offers a great interactive experience for young and old alike.

So as most of you know the town of Queen Creek has harassed us into closing our zoo down and most of the critters have been relocated to other zoos. While we are sad to be leaving all of our critter friends here and moving away in the end its for the best. Queen Creek is turning into someplace I really don't feel comfortable in anymore. If you cant have critters or even compost your organic material anymore its not a farming community anymore. Soon its going to be Mesa East with all the comforts and crime of South Phoenix. I wish you all the best but I feel sorry for your loss, this used to be a great little community.

19/08/2017

We still have bunnies and chinchillas available but most of the others have been rehomed. Bunnies have been fixed and there are 4 groups available, there is 1 intact male as well

19/08/2017

Well, things are going better than expected so far. Most of the animals are going to 2 separate facilities, Safari Junction in Ohio and to South Carolina. Both facilities are run by people I trust and care for the animals deeply. They will still be able to interact with people and they might even enjoy the cooler climate and more grass then we have been able to grow here. We are taking our small group of remaining critters and relocating to an area that still allows for animals and hopefully no animal haters and anti rescue groups like Queen Creek is being populated with.

17/08/2017

Due to the constant harassment by Mike Fisher and the town of Queen Creek we are shutting down the zoo both Mobile and farm. Some of the critters you have grown to love are available for adoption, contact me if interested. Keep in mind this is not an isolated incident, if animal haters like Fisher and his friends infiltrate the government more and more animal venues will be shutting down. Peta and HSUS do not want you to own any animals.

This has never included any of the small animals, they are after my cows and alpaca nothing else.

Still looking for some forever homes for a couple guinea pigs and bunnies. Still have a female baby and 2 juveniles here to make your own as well.

29/05/2017

As most of you know we have stopped the mobile portion of our zoo. We currently have several guinea pigs, bunnies and some equipment for adoption and sale. If you are interested in a well behaved critter please let us know.

Good morning everyone! Here we go...As of Sunday, April 16th 2017, Arizona Down Under Exotic Petting Zoo, will no longer be providing MOBILE event coverage. We are concentrating on the animals care here on the farm and will still have farm visits and education experiences but, going out on the road will be discontinued. Thank you all for your support over the years and we look forward to caring for the animals here on site and being able to share them with our friends.

09/01/2017

Happy New year everyone. Well as we say goodbye to 2016 and Hello to 2017 there are some changes being made.
Many of our animals are starting to reach their senior years as well as the humans that care for them. We have decided that we will concentrate more on farm visits and small group, educational programs and less on the mobile part of the zoo. If you already have booked an event or are a "regular" annual client we will still honor those events. Not to say there won't be exceptions but, that will be on a case by case basis.
We are always accepting volunteers here to help with the critters as they do love the human interaction and there is not enough of the two of us to go around. If you are interested please contact Sherry for more information.
Thank all of you for your past support and we look forward to seeing you this year. As always keep an eye out for our new additions as we will keep posting our little friends here as time permits. Chris

Happy New Year to all. This year we are winding down on our mobile petting zoo. Starting to get old. We are doing a lot of farm visits and will continue to do them. Please call or email to make an appointment if you would like to visit the farm. A few days in advance is all that is needed. You pick the time too. You will then have your own private time with all the animals. A good time line is about 2 hours. You will get to see all the animals and feed and touch anything that will let you. Thank you all for your support in the past years and hope to keep doing farm visits as long as possible.

Arizona Down Under had a surprise appearance last night. Nibbles and Nuggett Agouti gave the world a new little addition. Born right about 5pm on September 6th. Healthy and eating fine. Red Rumped Agouti are native to Brazil and are members of the rodent family.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Arizona Down Under Exotic Petting Zoo Receives 2015 Best of Queen Creek Award

Queen Creek Award Program Honors the Achievement

QUEEN CREEK September 5, 2015 -- Arizona Down Under Exotic Petting Zoo has been selected for the 2015 Best of Queen Creek Award in the Farms category by the Queen Creek Award Program.

Each year, the Queen Creek Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Queen Creek area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2015 Queen Creek Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Queen Creek Award Program and data provided by third parties.

About Queen Creek Award Program

The Queen Creek Award Program is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Queen Creek area. Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.

The Queen Creek Award Program was established to recognize the best of local businesses in our community. Our organization works exclusively with local business owners, trade groups, professional associations and other business advertising and marketing groups. Our mission is to recognize the small business community's contributions to the U.S. economy.

As soon as things start cooling down the critters will be ready to start coming out again. I think they are getting a bit "stir crazy" now however, the heat is just too much for them. If you would like to book a party or farm visit in the future give Sherry a call or send a message. We also have Gift Certificates available.

11/06/2015

Well our last party before the real summer weather starts is this Saturday. So we will begin taken requests and bookings for October and beyond. Summer in Arizona is too hot for the animals and me. If you would like to do a farm visit we will still be doing those early in the morning or in the evenings if it cools down by then. Keep checking we may have some fun things coming up in the Fall for everyone. I know we have another open house for those who missed the Spring on. Have a great and safe summer and don't forget to watch your kids and animals around water.

Noahlyn is doing great. Getting stronger everyday. She has her balance down to a tee and wants to be with her sisters more. This morning mama even let her nurse on her. Good news all the way around.

05/06/2015

Well the vet just called and the surgery on little Noahlyn went well. I will be picking up my little tripod in about an hour or so. I hope she heals fast and is happy now that she doesn't have to lug that big useless leg around. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

05/06/2015

Little Noahlyn is in surgery right now to remove her bad leg. Prayers are respectfully requested
