I can’t stress enough how much you should just leave your dogs at home in these hot days!!

The Heat is On! 🔥🔥
Please leave your pets at home during these warm months!
As temperatures start to rise, make sure that you are not placing your pets at risk. Every year, hundreds of pets die from heat exhaustion because they are left in parked vehicles.

Excuses such as: "Oh, it will just be a few minutes while I go into the store," or "But I cracked the windows..." don't amount to much if your pet becomes seriously ill or dies from being left in a vehicle.

Parked cars are deathtraps for dogs: On a 78-degree day, the temperature inside a parked car can soar to between 100 and 120 degrees in just minutes, and on a 90-degree day, the interior temperature can reach as high as 160 degrees in less than 10 minutes.

If you are planning to be out for awhile, make sure to think of your pet's safety. This is definitely a situation where "love 'em and leave 'em" is a good thing. Please leave your pets at home when you can...they'll be safe, and you’ll have a healthy, happy pet to come home to.
