So most people know about nail trimmers and nail dremels for dogs, but I have found that their nails can still have sharp edges. I use this Pet Nail File on the puppy nails to get a really smooth edge after trimming. I also use it on Caramel since we do pet therapy and a lot of our clients have sensitive/thin skin.

Dora is on day 2 of leash walking. Look at how attentive she is to Grace.

Dakota didn’t love the leash on day 1 so we took it back a few steps. We used gentle leash pressure. As soon as she would move towards the pressure. We click and give her a treat. She did amazing. We will do this for another day or two and then try it while moving. Today I just sat on a bench with her in front of me. No video because I only have two hands. 🤷‍♀️

Our puppies are litter tray trained. To make house training even easier, these small potty pad holders can be placed near the door and/or in the X pen for a dedicated place for the puppy to go in the house if they don't make it outside. Since most of our 2024 litter have gone home, we wanted to showcase some of our favorite puppy raising and training products. First off, we have an Exercise Pen or commonly called an X Pen. These come in a varitey of heights. For labs, we usually plan on a 30 inch height so they can be used when they are adults. We like to have two. One for an outside safe space and one for an inside safe space where they cannot get into anything you don't want them to. You can connect them to your crate or place the crate inside and they can be helpful for crate training. Get one with a gate so that you can walk in and out with them. Our whelping pen is two X pens hooked togehter. They are super vesatile. The lightweight folding ones can be taken just about anywhere. We have started with clicker training. We charged the clicker yesterday and today they all offered us sit. It’s truly amazing how quickly they learn and how eager they are to learn.
