Good morning little babies! 🌞
The babies have LOVED the outdoors!
This morning we used the snuffle mat for breakfast time! The puppies has a blast exploring and putting their sniffers to good use 🥰🐾 I was also excited to see the puppies problem solving, recovering from frustration and retrying, and overall using their smart little brains to solve the puzzles!
We have been taking turns exposing all of the puppies to the great outdoors! 🐾
Aunty Bella’s lesson of the day: when you can’t find a good ball, find a better stick!
Mindful of the cold, these short play periods and periods of early socialization helps puppies adapt and become well-rounded. By not isolating them strictly to indoors, this helps them overcome and prevent the fears of the outside world and all of the normal noises, sights, and textures.
Now, taking your puppies outdoors, especially at such a young age and not fully vaccinated yet, we suggest finding a secluded space and avoiding feces from other dogs to minimize disease risk while still providing your curious pooch with the benefits of training and life experience!
As a happy alternative, you can also carry her around outdoors so she can sniff the air and get used to a different environment while staying safe 🤍🐾
All in all, dog tunnels are a great way to mentally and physically exercise your dog!💕
🐾A confident dog is a happy dog, and there’s no better way to build a dog’s confidence than to work together with you, their human.
🐾Agility training can help your dog get over fears of unusual surfaces, small spaces, ‘scary’ situations, and completing tasks without being right by your side.
🐾Plus, they’ll be rewarded after every exercise, run and session with their absolute favourite thing, helping them build their confidence and trust in themselves even more!
🐾The confidence built while practicing agility will even transfer over into other parts of your dog’s life too, whether that be confidence in new situations or meeting new people and dogs.

1 Week Old Pup Fact:
As puppies are born unable to see, hear or regulate their body temperature, they are reliant on their mom for all their needs and a place to snuggle into for warmth. During this first week, all their energy will be devoted to sleeping and feeding so that they gain weight and become strong! 🐾
