Baby Girl is learning the basics. This is her third 60 min private inhome session. She’s learning sit, down, come, stay, leave it, and settle. Heavy focus on off leash recall and out of sight stay. In the beginning she didn’t wanna lay down because there was a stick in her way, miss priss. Her out of sight stay is so fun to watch improve- she enjoys training and has good focus. So far I’m able to completely go inside the house as well as walk to the other side of the house and she will remain there until I return and she will come when called as well. Good progress.

Sweet Gus! He is a senior chihuahua rescue doggo who needs some behavior modification regarding his barking and behavior towards meeting new people. Third session with me and lots of improvement! Today he had a $35/25min social skills session in a public setting to work on his reactivity with strangers. He did amazing and impressed all of us. Soon he will be ready to go on vacation with mom! And mom will know how to handle and address his shenanigans to continue to improve his behavior.

Not my typical puppy training post. Everyone meet my new student Gus! 👋
He is an older chihuahua probably around 12+ years. Gus has a very contrary personality and we are working with his family on some behavior modifications. Gus is part of a pack of four doggos and two hoomans. We started with a Pack Management Consultation to asses the whole family and routine, and now will be working with just Gus to overcome some of his behavioral problems. I haven’t gotten to kiss him yet but last visit he allowed some pets (and licked me twice)!

Hello 👋 I have been training dogs for over 6 years, well before these two little ones were ever thought of. My spare time I spend at home with my family and pets. Luxury dog care begins with a topnotch facility that prioritizes the dog's stress and comfort level above all else. Our process begins with evaluating each and every dog not just once, but on a biannual basis. This helps us maintain a good understanding of your dog's specific needs and interests. We test each dog with old and young, small and large, mellow and hyper. Even elderly dogs get a chance to hang with the youngin's if they want to. Each dog gets to experience our facility at the pace they are comfortable with. If off leash play is not their cup of tea, they are welcome to chill in the lounge area on a sofa with a blankie and some Netflix on! Cage free does not mean chaos- in fact it is quite the opposite. Most of our days are spent enjoying the weather outside, or sprawled out on couches inside watching movies. Once dogs get to know eachother and find the group and space that fits them best things settle down. Times of high arousal, like new dogs joining the pack or the mailman making a delivery, will cause an uproar. But generally, we are very calm, quiet, and laid back. Typically by mid afternoon everyone is exhausted and sprawled out on the cool floor or curled up in a bed. Closer to dark we start turning lights down and closing blinds. Daycare dogs head home as the evening winds to a close, and the cage free boarders settle in for the night with their overnight Rufferee.

Everyone meet Beaux. He is almost 9 weeks old, a golden retriever. His family decided they wanted to add this baby to their family and wanted some help covering the puppy basics! I love when clients contact me *before* bringing home a new baby, raising puppies right is my speciality!!
