Just home from rocky branch stockdog club trial. Had a little success in cattle and sheep. Thanks for hosting southern stockdog and Mssa sanctioned trial thanks for hard work on putting g on your first trial.

Home from two weeks of travel and glad to be back
Went to Roy Cox for a week and then to southwest futurity and finals. Had some good runs with my dogs. Futurity was up and down as this was their first trial. Jill worked decent after she settled down. Lenard got better every run and finished 7th second day of ranch and bo finished sixth day one and eighth day two for fifth in average of ranch. Rip did well just didn’t draw well enough to place. Picked up some checks and lots of experience for the young dogs. Thanks to all who put this trial on Next Level Super Premium Pet Food. The fb always ask what’s on your mind when you go to make a post. We’ll for days the North Carolina disaster has been on my mind because I have friends that live in that area. We have been in contact with them and trying to help as we can. Folks it is worse than you think. Necessities are few. Daily living has changed for these folks. There are orphans without food clothing or shelter Churches are taking them in and doing the best they can. The cowboy churches are going and coming as fast as they can carrying supplies as they are gathered. They are going next week to start cooking for people. They will need food items to cook. WAter to hand out. So many things. A friend of mine said the church in his area has taken in 20 orphans so far. No clothes or idea where parents are. There is a need for people to step up in this time. I know lots of people are helping. No matter the gift it can be used. The widows mite was great. I’m going to get a load together to either carry or send by one of the churches because they can get in easier and they already have contacts and drop zones. Our Alabama Stock Dog Association sheep #3 trial and # 4 finals will be held sat. In case of rain it will be at northeast agribusiness center in Rainsville. 6 miles from my house. Big arena with great facilities. Make plans to attend. There will be some payback in the 4th trial as we have some added money from the other trials. Have some prizes for year end and the individual trials. Make plans to attend. Please share See y’all sat
