Pet parents! Keep your pups safe while temperatures rise back up. Purchase boots/shoes for your pets and acclimate them to wearing them for short walks. Ensure you are buying shoes with solid soles that will protect their feet from heat, but are a breathable material on top to help them cool. Heat exhaustion can be devastating to people and animals alike. Make sure your pet has the skills necessary to keep themselves safe!

🔴If your dog does not return to you when you call them, they need recall training.

🔴If your dog would or DOES run out of your front door or escape your yard, they need boundary training.

Taylored training is offering a reduced in-home training package that covers these two topics. We do not wish to see dozens of lost or injured pets, especially when we reach hotter days. We would rather your fuzzy friends be safe, happy, and in your home.

We cover these topics within your home over the course of two weekly 1-hour sessions. Owners will also have short daily exercises to complete with their pets! Contact us for more information or to schedule. Spaces are limited. Multi-dog households are more than welcome to join!

Tell us your favorite veterinary offices! We are compiling a list (by city) to have as a resource on our blog. This way, pet owners can find emergency, specialized, or general pet care offices easily!

Please give us as much information as possible about each location you suggest. We'd love to be able to scale this list by client preference as well!

Hello pups and pals!

This will be a longer post, but We wanted to prepare everyone for a few changes that are to come.

TL,DR: pricing changes, website accessibility changes, new products, how to contact us, and how to sign up for our next training cycle.

First:

Through personal experience, market comparisons, and speaking with other business owners, we have realized a few faults in our pricing system.

With the beginning of June, our website will be changed to show proper market-reflecting, fair prices for all of our products and services. We are also working to offer many, many more products within this time frame!

Those who are current customers will be grandfathered in at your current (non-May sale) prices. We will personally contact everyone who would be on this list to notify you of this.

Second:

Our website will eventually change. Our contacts will remain the same, but we don’t quite like the look and layout of our current website. We are working to make this more user-friendly and accessible. When we do have an official change, this will be sent to all of our current contacts via text/email/social media/etc. so that everyone has access to the new website links. You will also be able to find these links on all of our media pages.

Third:

For now, our website or Private message are preferred methods for ordering products. Like stated above, we have a few things we don’t like about the current website layout. One of these issues being that our in-person pickup function is not showing up for customers, making shipping the only option. Especially if you are a training client, please place orders through messaging so you don’t pay shipping when I’d see you in-person soon anyways!

And finally:

Training. Our current schedule is full, and we will have openings to start new clients the first full week of July. If you are wanting to join our schedule, please contact us through text/email/social media so we can place you and have everyone sorted into our schedule for when the time comes to start your training program!

We will be posting more info when each of these changes occur. If you have any questions or concerns, everyone is more than welcome to contact us! We appreciate all of you and look forward to greeting these changes with you!

We are busy working on our written training guides again! They did get pushed to the back burner when our training schedule filled, but now we are going to have more consistent time to work on ALL of our products.

Treats are constantly flowing, as always. Keep an eye out for each guide as we finish them, as well as video guides.

This is our new pack member, Penny! We will be documenting her journey with us and Rosie!

Right now we are just working on introducing her to our routines and learning about each other more.

We will definitely be busy this week working on shop items, training, and getting everyone in our household settled.

Hello Friends and Fuzzies!

Taylored Training & Shop is happy to announce the launch of our subscription boxes! We are currently offering two different boxes, but are open to opinions and new ideas!

These packages are the ’Training’ box, and the ‘Goodie’ box.

Included in the Training box are:
- 5 small bags of dehydrated treats*
- 2 monthly raffle tickets
- 1 training clicker
- 1 random soft toy
- Email and Text instructions to select one basic task and redeem for virtual lessons

Training boxes are $50 for a one-time delivery, and $40 for a recurring subscription.

Included in the Goodie box are:
- 5 small bags of dehydrated treats*
- 2 monthly raffle tickets
- 1 braided fleece rope toy (random color)
- 1 random soft toy

Goodie boxes are $40 for a one-time delivery, and $30 for a recurring subscription.

As we have recieved orders from all over, shipping will be calculated separately from the box price.

*one of each of our types, or a custom mix for those with allergies or strong preferences. Treats are: chicken jerky, chicken hearts, beef jerky, beef heart, and smelt (fish).

Policy post : appointment confirmation and cancellations

This applies after a client has paid for lessons. At least 24 hours prior to each lesson, each client will be contacted to remind them of their appointment and to confirm their availability.

Clients may reschedule twice per course. Pay-per-lesson clients may reschedule once.

Failure to respond to contact will result in an assumed cancellation.

Rescheduling for most reasons will result in cancellation. Exceptions include medical emergencies and civic duties.

As previously stated, clients may reschedule lessons up to twice per course, and once for PPL clients. Once this limit has been reached, clients may not reschedule any further classes. Meeting this number or Attempts to do exceed it will void any refund on classes.
