“Gaston came into my business a little over a year ago heartbroken from the passing of his owner and had a little body rash from dry skin. His temporary owner told me he was looking for a home for him. After careful consideration (about 5 minutes lol) | decided to give him the best life possible. He is 10 years old, his birthday is July 5th and he’s so full of life. He naps in his very own chair in my shop everyday and looks forward to his daily walks with Savi Dog where he gets to sniff every single blade of grass. He loves car rides with mommy and plays with the puppies that come into the shop for grooming. I honestly don’t know what l’d do without him.”

Hi Everyone!
I will be answering messages Tuesday, Jan 30th when I am home from vacation.
I just also wanted to come on here and reflect on the last few years. I am super grateful for my staff, clientele, & of course, the pets. My heart is full of love, gratefulness, and I honestly feel motivated more than ever. I want to expand this business into multiple directions from dog walks to (hopefully) service dog training programs to maybe a brick & mortar pet store. The possibilities are endless for me because of all of YOU!
Some of you have been with me since I was 20 years old not knowing what direction I was going towards while trying to go to school, work, play collegiate softball, and grieve the lost of my mom. Some are new to the SaviDog Family and have trusted my judgement with everyone I've hired. I could go on and on and on just know I am so thankful for this, it is all I ever wanted. Much love to you all and I hope 2024 is the best year yet and if not, 2025 will be here before we know it lol

Safety is always our top priority here at Savi Dog. Below is a list of safety precautions we take when dog walking…
🐾 We will perform an assessment on the dog’s walking equipment (collar, harness, leash, prong, raincoat, etc) to make sure every item is fitting them properly. 🐾 If a pet is being let out in a fenced in area rather than being walked, we check that the area is fully enclosed first.
🐾 We do not leave pets unattended outside.

We care for your pets safety as if they are our own, and do our best to ensure they have a fun -and safe- time on our walk.

De-icing salts are being used on walkways and streets. This can be harmful to your pups’ paws and mouth if he/she licks his/her paws. The chemicals in the salts can even cause ulcers in your pups digestive system. Your pup can still enjoy the outdoors and snow, just make sure to use protective booties on paws, or wash them immediately after exposure! You can also try putting a coat of vaseline on paws to create a protective barrier (this option is a little more messy)! 🐾❄️

“Slinky is a 3 1/2 year old Micro Miniature Dachshund. Don’t let his size fool you though, he bosses his two chocolate lab besties around any chance he can. If Slink isn’t running around his back yard chasing tennis balls, you can find him sunbathing in the window. He loves to spend his weekends at his beach house with his little brother, Ralphie and his dog dad, Buddy. I can’t forget to mention how much he loves his afternoons with his fav SaviDog walker, Alyssa 🫶🏼”
