A new program coming to life...
"Hey y'all. This is Kuma, and I'm Julie B. And we are the Droolie Skoolie."
I wanted to take the time to explain our mission. We are building out Piper The Drool Bus as a relief vehicle to be the anchor vehicle in the Droolie Skoolie program, currently under the Nomadic Pets non profit organization.
The Droolie Skoolie program will be a natural disaster relief program. We, are not a rescue. We do not help place dogs. What we do is when we see a natural disaster about to occur, we will start networking with the area in question; for example, if a hurricane is about to Georgia (and not come for NC) then we'd locate a shelter (or more if time) in the projected affected area and transport the animals from that shelter to a shelter further inland where they'll be safe. Then start collecting supplies to take down afterwards. If it's something unforeseeable, then we collect supplies and go afterwards to help with recovery.
