Zippy😃

Sadie❤️‍🩹

Sadie was saved when a good samaritan found her in a ditch eating road kill. She was emaciated, dehydrated & weak. She's being boarded at a vet where she's getting the help she needs. She's now vaccinated & free of any parasites. She tested negative for heartworms also.
Sadie would love to have a foster home (or a Forever home!) She's very trusting & so sweet. She's young, but full grown, so medium size.

Millie😇

Millie is a young dog with an old soul. She's very sweet & gentle, wanting nothing more than to be a loyal companion.
She can be quite shy with other animals until she gets to know them. She is good with dogs of all sizes & non-reactive with cats.
She loves the outdoors on a nice day. She is extremely mild mannered. She walks well on a leash & she's housetrained.
Millie has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative. We believe Millie is a beautiful mix of lab & golden retreiver, possibly with pyr. She's 2 yrs old and weighs 90 lbs. A true "gentle giant."

Brody's Still Waiting

Brody is a sweet adorable pup who is patiently waiting for his Forever family to find him. He's about 6 mos and will remain on the smaller end of medium size. He sort of resembles a dachshund with long legs, but also looks like a little dobie mix. Brody loves making doggie friends and he likes kids too. He has also been around cats.

Introducing Jewel & her 7 little gems..

Jewel ended up homeless in a small town when her family moved away and left her outside to fend for herself. Pregnant and starving, she made her way to the local cafe in search of food. Luckily a kind samaritan who was aware of her situation called us for help. As soon as a foster home became available, we rescued this precious diamond in the rough. Two days after arriving at her foster home, Jewel delivered 7 healthy puppies.
Amber, Ruby, Jett, Mica, Jasper, Onyx & Sapphire were born on Halloween. They're only 4 weeks old so far, but we wanted to share their adorable baby photos. They're just way too cute not to! They're available for pre-adoption. Please text 615-540-8448 for more pictures and info!

Bryant

One of the lucky ones, Bryant's life was spared minutes before euthanasia. His fate @ the mercy of humans, he'd somehow landed at an overcrowded shelter in a low income area.. not a good situation for an adult pittie. By no fault of his own, Bryant was only one of so many who fell victim to the pet overpopulation crisis.
Most of the precious healthy dogs like Bryant don't/won't make it out of these situations alive. Thanks to several caring people who worked together, he has a real chance to find a Forever home.

Last week he was neutered, heartworm tested negative, vaccinated & microchipped. His age is guestimated at 1 & a half years; he weighs 55 lbs. He's an overgrown pup who's in desperate need of love AND leadership. He's a very loveable, happy boy, but also very strong & just beginning to learn "puppy manners." So Bryant will need an experienced dog handler who has time & patience to offer him.

Ivan

Ivan's a very sweet, calm natured boy. He's very cooperative and walks nicely on a leash. He's a good boy in a crate also. He enjoys playing with other dogs and so far seems to ignore cats.

UPDATE: BINO NEEDS A NEW FOSTER ASAP

Bino is currently in a foster home in Plano. The dog who lives there is unexpectedly aggressive towards him. We need to move him to another foster home before he's hurt! Please let me know if you can help. He's such a sweet pup and a great little patient. He just wants to be held and loved.

UPDATE: Bino's Surgery

Bino had surgery yesterday and it went very well. His broken bones have been set and splinted. He's a bit confused but in good spirits. He'll be able to leave the vet tmrw and will be transported to his foster home in Plano.🏡💞 Thank you so much to every one of you who have donated towards Bino's surgery fund.

Bino's journey has just begun. He will require several months of TLC, rehab and splint changes. So we're hoping donations continue to help provide for his care as well as the many others we've rescued.

Be My Forever Home like many others is struggling to keep up with demand. Funds, donated food and foster homes are desperately needed. Several dogs & cats are being cared for that are not yet available for adoption. Many have been in foster care for months or even years awaiting their Forever families. Help Us Help Bino

Bino was surrendered by a family because his leg was broken and they cannot afford vet care. The kids played too rough with him and dropped him on a hard floor. His radius and ulna are completely broken and detached.
Our options are either orthopedic surgery or amputation. Although we'd rather save his leg, the cost of orthopedic surgery would be higher and the recovery time would be longer. So we're leaning towards amputation. I've attached the vet's estimate of 1,247.00. We're still waiting on the estimate from the surgeon before ruling out the surgery option.
This very sweet pup is only 8 mos and we're hoping to raise the funds quickly so he won't have to suffer much longer. Once healed, he will only be available to a home without children.

UPDATES from Be My Forever Home

Many of you ask for updates and with so much always happening it's not easy to find the time to get them all together. Here are a few..

1) Our first annual HOWL-O-WEEN BASH was lots of fun. Thank you Rachel and The Ranch Clubhouse for hosting!🎃

2) Norma Jeane made it to the beauty shop, the vet, and then straight into the arms of her proud FOREVER parents. This precious senior will be living out her golden years in style surrounded by as much love as she can handle💞

3) Bagels is safe in a foster home. She was on the euthanasia list at one of many overcrowded shelters. *The shelters are so overwhelmed and many are forced to kill healthy dogs every day simply because there isn't enough room for them all. [Just one example: on a recent Sat, one of the larger DFW area shelters had 53 intakes and 12 adoptions. Do the math😔]
Bagels is one of the lucky ones. She's getting the love and care she needs in her foster home. Once fully vetted, she'll be posted for adoption.💛

4) Mama lab mix Bella & 10 pups are all safe. We managed to place the pups just in time before the city seized them. Four of the pups & mama dog, Bella are still available for adoption. Bella was spayed today.❤️

5) Heartbreakingly we had to let sweet little Duckie cross the Rainbow Bridge. Her injuries were severe and she was suffering. A human was responsible for it. She deserved so much better.😔

6) Duffels, the grieving senior cockatiel, was adopted by a loving family with a friendly cockatiel named Luka. Duffels and Luka took to each other right away and make perfect companions for one another.💙💙

Macaulay

This ADORABLE pup is about 6 mos old and he's sooooo sweet! He's a big loveable goofball and he's very playful. Macaulay "Mac" loves to give tons of kisses and follow his person/people around wherever they go. He loves to run around outside, although he doesn't care for the heat. He enjoys going on walks and he's very friendly with strangers and other dogs. He loves plating with dogs and kids. Mac would do best with older kids due to his size and puppyness.😁🐶❤️
Mac is housetrained. He rarely barks. He's inquisitive and eager to please.
He's up to date on vaccines, but isn't neutered yet per vet's instructions. If he might be your newest family member, please TEXT 615-540-8448

MOM & LAST 3 PUPS WILL BE SEIZED & KILLED TODAY IF NOT PLACED

The city extended our deadline to 1 pm today. If we cannot find foster placement for sweet mama Bella & her last 3 puppies by 1 pm, they said they will be seized (due to insufficient living conditions)and euthanized. The shelter is overcapacity and they have no place to put them.

Hershey

This sweet chocolate-colored morsel of a pup was found alone on a busy street. A good samaritan who was on foot noticed her and convinced her to follow him home. She was so grateful to feel safe. All she wants is love and a home of her own.
Hershey appears to be a whippet mix pup. She's around 5 mos old and sweet as can be. She adores people and loves making new doggie pals. She loves to run. She has a silly side that comes out when we play with her. She's crate trained and she's not a barker.

🚨SOS: FOSTER NEEDED BY WED

There is a litter of 11 puppies who need immediate placement. They're likely to be euthanized if a foster isn’t located by Wednesday! (They're lab mixes and will be smaller than a full lab.)

Cottonball 🐇

This adorable little rabbit needs a soft place to land. He deserves a forever home.
Cottonball already has a 2-tiered indoor cage/hutch as well as his food, litter box and supplies. He's very friendly with humans of all ages. He'll even walk up to strangers for pets.💕 He has not been socialized with other bunnies. He's young and healthy.

Please Help Us Help Duckie

This little girl was recently found in terrible condition. She was alone out in the big world. Her hair was so matted she was unable to see & she was mostly walking in circles. Once taken for a vet exam & haircut, it was discovered that she was missing an eye & had suffered a broken jaw.
Despite her misery she remains grateful and loving to all those who are helping her. She's desperately in need of more medical care. Her left eye needs to be sewn shut.
In trying to accommodate the recent increase in abandoned and surrendered pets, our rescue funds have been depleted. We're in dire need of donations for veterinary care for Duckie & others like her. Please help if you can.

Casper, the VERY Friendly Pup!

This is Casper, the friendliest pup we know. He always says "hello" and "glad to meetcha" wherever he may go. He's kind to every living creature.🥰

Casper's 14 mos and 70 lbs of LOVE.❤️ This pup's very affectionate. He enjoys belly rubs, curling up on the sofa and sitting on laps.😁
Casper loves loves loves squeaky toys and chewies. He's been working on his Benebone for a couple of months. He has completed basic obedience training, but still needs more practice on a leash. He's crate trained and housetrained.✔️✔️
Casper has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and he's current on heartworm prevention and flea prevention. He's such a sweet, playful pup! And he's soft, like velvet.😊

Lap Dog Seeking Large Lap

"I'm looking for an empty lap to fill. I love my human friends and I enjoy it when I’m given love and attention by them. I love cuddles and sometimes I pretend I’m a small lap dog so I can get even closer to my human friends.❤️ I'm 41 lbs, housetrained, and very good company!
My foster family has a pool and I think it's fun to lounge in the water on the top step. They named me Rosalina, after the Mario Bros. character, but I’m not too attached to the name, so you can call me whatever you want! I heard them say I was an adorable red heeler mix. My coat is extra soft and has a red merle pattern. I like hanging out with the dogs here, but humans are my favorite breed. I'd be so happy to become someone's new best friend. Baby Yoda Needs A Forever Home 💛

This pup is such a sweetheart. He was rescued from a ditch alongside a country road with his littermates. They were so hungry and thirsty.. most likely dumped there to fend for themselves. Thankfully a good samaritan noticed them and called us for help.
Yoda's ears are amazing and his sense of smell is even more so! He's very treat motivated which helps with his training. He is already crate trained. We're working on potty training and sitting. He loves to run and play outside. When inside he loves to play with toys and anyone who will play. He loves pets and cuddles too.

Bella

Bella is a blue-eyed teddy bear of a pup. She's friendly, fun, happy-go-lucky, and very loving. Bella just wants to be loved!💞 She's potty trained and crate trained and she knows "sit." She loves to run in the yard and she loves her toys. She'll make an awesome addition to a family who would love a sweet, playful pup.

Baby Kylo

This pup was rescued from a ditch alongside a country road with his littermates. They were so hungry and thirsty and most likely dumped there to fend for themselves.
Kylo is so very sweet! He's super cuddly and he loves affection. He's a bit timid at first but he loves play, so he warms right up.
Kylo's also treat motivated making him easy to train. He loves other dogs and all people. He hasn't met a cat friend yet. He's crate trained and has a very soft coat.🥰

"Hi everyone, I’m Rosalina. I also go by Rosa or Mama. I was rescued with my puppies. I'm only 1 year old, so I'm basically still a puppy myself. I'm 40 lbs, housetrained, and very good company!
My foster family named me Rosalina, after the Mario Bros. character, but I’m not too attached to the name, so you can call me whatever you want! Since I'm mostly red heeler, my relatives love to herd cattle and I would do best with an owner who would enjoy doing physical activities with me. I love my human friends and enjoy it when I’m given love and attention by them.
