Up for Discussion. 6 year old female GSP, she is an excellent close working dog, she has pointed lots of wild birds (quail/pheasant) in her life, she has been on pheasants in Kansas and does a great job with them as well. 50 to 100 yard range. She handles great, she works very well to the front. Great nose, very steady, loves to retrieve game, excellent dead bird finder, backs on sight. Raymond Rice’s Spook x Carson pups, Carson is a direct daughter of Chelsea Thunderbolt and an excellent wild bird dog with derby and shooting dog placements of her own. Thos pup is headed to Montana and then to South Texas to go to work for Tracy Clower. She is a feisty one. I like her chances of making a wild bird dog for Tracy.

This young man will be staying right here in Enid, OK to provide bird finding services for Gage Biggers. Sire is Raymond Rice’s Valley View Spooky and the dam is Carson, a daughter of Chelsea’s Thunderbolt and an excellent wild bird dog in her own right.

Breeding Announcement:

Rey will be bred to Crue from, "Talk About Retrievers" within the next few days. I have spent considerable time matching Rey to a stud that should compliment her and create an excellent litter of field bred goldens. Both the dam and sire have a pedigree full of master hunters and performance dogs. Rey has a junior hunter and a senior dock diving title. Crue is a master hunter and qualified for the 2022 Master National. The puppies will be great candidates for performance and hunting homes. They will also make great companion dogs in active homes. Carson, my Chelsea Thunderbolt daughter getting it done time and again on wild birds in western Oklahoma. After competing on the Shooting Dog circuit for two years and having several placements as a Derby and a 2nd Place placement last year, I decided to keep her home this year and run her as a wild bird dog. She has not disappointed!!! Thanks to Virgil Moore for handling her and working her for the last two years and to George Hickox for allowing me to purchase her.

Outbound’s Castabout Rey of Sunshine(left) earned her Junior Hunter Title. Her younger sister(right) earned her first junior pass of many to come. She was impressive.

Rey (Golden) earned her 3rd Junior pass and Rocky(Lab) earned his 4th pass which earns him his AKC Junior Title today at the Tulsa Retriever Club Hunt test.
