Meet Bebe

Purebred Ragdoll, 5yrs, Dilute tortoiseshell, Blue eyes, spayed female, 6 lbs, with claws.

Cat friendly: Yes, with another gentle and docile cat like herself.

Dog friendly: No, Dogs would be too much for her.

Kid friendly: 13yo +

Special needs: None.

Bebe is a shy but sweet Purebred Ragdoll with piercing blue eyes, a pink nose and an angelic-like dusting of tan and grey colors on her ears, face and tail. She is a little girl who loves to flirt with her foster mom and will break into “elevator butt” from across the room when she is being spoken to. She has a soft cottony coat that is currently growing out of a lion cut and will need to be maintained with a stainless steel comb. Bebe also has the sweetest little meows and will give kisses when accepting pets. She is very playful and loves to bat around a spring toy on hard floors and hang out under her favorite vertical scratching post, wrestling with the bottom of the post.

The ideal home for Bebe is one that is stable, calm, patient and experienced and will let Bebe move at her own pace. Bebe is not a demanding kind of kitty, but the more time you put into her, the more you will receive in return. She is not comfortable being carried around and at this point prefers not to be a lap kitty. She does enjoy petting if she is not threatened. Starting out, she prefers to observe you from a safe distance, but she is easily swayed with some encouraging talk and once you get scratching her cheek, she will flop over for more. She really loves her wet food served twice a day, which consists of Honest Kitchen rehydrated chicken or Classic Fancy Feast chicken and that is a great bonding opportunity for both you and Bebe.

Bebe will need to start out in a "base camp" room in her new home, while she becomes familiar and comfortable with her new people and she will let you know when she’s ready to explore more of the home. Bebe does great with another gentle, docile cat like herself as she shows no reaction to the resident kitties in her foster home. Dogs would be too much for her and young children or a loud, active home would send her into hiding and is not appropriate. She is 100% with using her large uncovered litter box filled with unscented clumping litter and is ready to find her furrrever home.

GETTING TO KNOW ME

Curly is a delightful, chunky youngster. He came to rescue looking for love and playtime. Prior to this, he had limited human time and will need a little bit of time to warm up. When he does, he will just melt your heart. Two things motivate this plush and gentle boy—food (FOOD) and toys. First, Curly loves to eat. When he knows it is dinner time, he is front and center at the foster cat room door and chirps away to be sure you do not miss him. Clearly this handsome guy never misses a meal proven by his squishy belly and big, big paws. Those big paws LOVE chasing down a wand toy birdie and for his size, he can really jump in pursuit of his prey. When he prefers to stay on land, he slams his crinkle balls around hoping to become a starter on the local soccer team.

The more time he can spend in a routine and quieter environment, the more he will feel comfortable. He is not comfortable being carried around and at this point prefers not to be a lap kitty. He does enjoy petting if he is not threatened. He gets along well with his foster friend Cali and the two would make a great pair if you are inclined to adopt two!

Curly is fine with other cats and would do well with another who can continue to help him feel more comfortable. He would probably do fine with a gentle dog who would ignore him. Young children or a loud, active home would send him into hiding and is not appropriate. An adult quiet home would be wonderful.

Curly has been 100% with his litterboxes which are large, open and contain unscented clumping litter. He is not fussy when it comes to food and has enjoyed Nutro kibble and 4 Health canned food. He is schedule fed and ideally this will continue to keep his weight in check.

VETTING PROVIDED

Exam, neutered, tested negative for FELV/FIV, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed and is microchipped. He has some redness in his gums but does not need a dental. However, this should be monitored with check-ups on an annual basis.

GETTING TO KNOW ME

Cali is a confident, gentle younger adult British Shorthair just looking for a nice lap in a loving environment. She has an international background but if your language is the love language, she will adapt readily in the perfect home. She is a quiet sweetheart with a thick and plush, blue coat that will keep you warm when she stretches out on your lap. She LOVES laps. She is a great mix of love and play and enjoys fun, interactive toys while sharing time with her human family. Her purring will lull you off into a nice nap that she happily will share with you. Add a taller cat tree for her climb and gaze upon the outdoors and life is good.

Cali gets along well with other cats even those who are just a bit more dominant. She is a splendid example for one of her current foster cat roommates Curly who is not as comfortable as she. Cali is a sweet little mentor. If you are looking for two, they are a ready-made pair of beautiful Brits.

Besides getting along with cats, Cali would likely co-exist with a respectful dog and respectful kids who are at least middle school age. The more laps the merrier.

Cali is 100% with her litterboxes which are large, open and contain unscented clumping litter. She is not fussy when it comes to food and has enjoyed Nutro kibble and 4 Health canned food. She is schedule fed and ideally this will continue to keep her weight in check.

GETTING TO KNOW ME

Trixiebelle is a fairy tale kitty that is a rex lover’s dream. She is petite, lean and lanky from the tips of her toes to her ears. Her coat is thin, short, wavy and non-greasy. Her eyes are a bright, bright yellow that catch every single move around her. She has one speed-HIGH. Trixiebelle moves fast, always. Whether she is running, playing, jumping or launching herself from stairs, up on the counter, or across the furniture, expect this to be her norm. If this is not your style, Trixiebelle is not the girl for you. She is petite at just six pounds but when she comes flying onto your belly from above, she is a 6-pound brick.

Trixiebelle loves to play with other cats. She MUST have a high-octane cat companion who wants to play with another cat friend. Trixiebelle is no wall flower and might be best described as a tomboy. She will tousle and wrestle and has little fear of rough play. (Rough play is different from attacking with intent to injure.) When it is time to rest, she wants to have another kitty to snuggle with and burrow undercover. A soft, thick fleece and a human lap are pretty darn awesome too.

Trixiebelle is litterbox perfect with her choice of several open boxes with unscented clumping litter, no cover, no liners. This girl likes to EAT and is enjoying scheduled feeding of Honest Kitchen and Primal. Given how much she enjoys eating, we do not recommend free feeding as she might eat herself into obesity which would be detrimental in general to her health and in particular to her declawed front paws.

Trixiebelle will do fine in an adult household or with older cat experienced kids. When she is in full play mode, she flies around, launches herself onto people and can get nibbly. She would not be appropriate with younger kids/toddlers/infants. She MUST have a high energy cat companion in the household and would be fine with a dog that respects her.

Exam, spayed, tested negative for FELV/FIV, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, dewormed and is microchipped.

She came into rescue front declawed. We have done x-rays of the front paws to look for bone fragments and tendon contraction that will cause pain and arthritis as she ages. No bone fragments were detected and at this time the tendons are okay. However, since her declaw was recent and she is young, this can become problematic as she ages. We are looking for an adopter who will continue to do x-rays on those front paws and do declaw repair surgery in the future if necessary.

Kady has a ginormous personality!! She is incredibly loving, chatty, loves having constant petting. She will search out people to be held, adored and toted around. Did I mention that she’s an absolute professional at happy feet and will make biscuits every chance she gets! She will need a single room to start out in, often referred to as "basecamp" with slow introductions and expansion of her space at her pace and the pace of other pets in the home. Kady should warm up to humans very quickly.

Kady is an easy, happy-go-lucky sorta girl. She's tiny at 5lbs but super fun and snuggly. She’d likely be fine with another cat that would ignore her, possibly a respectful dog that would ignore her and respectful cat savvy kid(s). Kady needs to be in a home where people are home much of the time. Please expect typical flat faced eye care, with daily eye wiping and the usual combing that Persians require. Kady has selective hearing and sometimes she hears us but most of the time she doesn't. Katy is currently in a lion-cut and velvety soft. Kady's person passed away and it was obvious that she was deeply loved because she can not get enough of people and she will not only make biscuits on you but will tap you until you pet her. Don't tell her she's 13! This girl LOVES wand toys almost as much as snuggles. And car rides are a fun time for her and she loves to tag along in a backpack to run errands. She had a dental and a full senior workup and she is in fantastic shape. She is front paw declawed and with all declawed cats that come to us she had xrays to ensure her feet are as comfortable as possible and they need no surgical declaw repair.

She has a medium energy level and her focus in life is to be petted by people. In her new home she should ideally have 2 litter boxes (one on each floor if there’s more than one level), spacious in size with no top and scoopable, unscented litter. She currently enjoys breakfast and dinner of Fancy Feast chicken pate, and a stainless water fountain and water bowl.

Behind the scenes 🎥

He’s purr-fectly inspiring! McKinnon's journey with PurrHarmony started in December 2023, and we have been using consensual interactions and yummy meals and crunchy treats as motivation to overcome his lack of human trust. GETTING TO KNOW ME

Diana is a distinctive, attentive Purebred Minuet. Her solid blue coat is exceptionally thick and soft, of moderate maintenance just grazing the floor. What is a Minuet you might ask? When one takes a gorgeous Persian and crosses with a short-legged Munchkin, the result is a Minuet. Although it may be hard to distinguish in the photos, Diana has shorter than the average legs. She is a full-bodied girl, with a larger, long frame that looks even bigger since she is low to the ground. One might think you have invested in a portable Roomba as her long coat almost grazes the ground and can easily fit under low furniture!

Diana is a very attentive girl and craves bonding with her human. When greeted, expect her to be up on your lap, paws on your shoulders with some snuggles and kisses gracing your chin and cheeks. She might bury her soft nose in your ear and purr just to say, “I love you,” Do acknowledge her presence with gentle petting and snuggling in return or she might just nibble your chin or nose to bring your focus to her.

Diana has a wonderful open face, with no breathing problems. Her eyes occasionally, gently weep and require some cleaning. It is recommended that you comb her daily to keep shedding to a minimum. When maintained, she does not mat, and she does not even mind having her belly combed. (It is preferred that you comb, not brush her to remove loose hair and not damage or break off the fur. Her foster mom exclusively uses the Chris Christenson medium-coarse 7.5” buttercomb. You will not need any other grooming tool if you have this.)

Expect that Diana will want to sleep on your lap, but she is not so dependent that you will be frozen in place. She loves to chase fireflies and spiders outside the window, works her scratching post hard and enjoys her cat tree. Oh, and do expect that she will have a lot to say to you. If you are gone during part of the day, she will want to tell you all about her day, upon your return.

Diana will thrive in a quieter environment with some routine. She will become stressed and anxious with a busy and high activity home. No young kids(teens okay), no puppies, no high energy cats or a combination of such is appropriate for her. She may be okay with an older dog/one that ignores her or cat (only one, not both) that will ignore her. Her ideal is as an only princess. Diana deserves her best life and if you can give her this, she will be perfect for you.

Diana has been 100% perfect with her litter boxes. They are large, open, unlined and reasonably low to the ground (remember she has short legs). Clumping, unscented litter is great. She enjoys a small handful of Nutro kibble daily and of course, her very favorite, Gravy Lovers Fancy Feast.

GETTING TO KNOW ME

Cyrus is a very chatty Persian who is finding his newfound confidence. He initially starts out shy for a few days and will require a small room to start off in for a few weeks while he gets acclimated to his new home and people. He is very friendly and curious about new cats but has never been exposed to dogs or young children. Cyrus is learning about toys, but mostly enjoys snuggling next to his person, lounging around, and watching out the window.

For being white a Persian, Cyrus is impeccably clean! He needs occasional eye wipes and some combing with a metal tooth comb. He is cooperative for grooming and nail trims.

The way to his heart will be through food! If you have his favorite Churu treats, Cyrus will quickly warm up to you. He will be meowing at you for food and pawing at you to keep petting him in no time!

Cyrus currently eats several brands of dry food and a variety of canned diets. He is not picky. He loves wet food and Churu lickable treats and will come out of his shell much quicker when you have food! Cyrus is great using a large open litter boxes with clumping litter.

GETTING TO KNOW ME

Darius is an easy-going and chatty Persian who is finding his newfound confidence. He initially starts out shy for a few days and will require a small room to start off in for a few weeks while he gets acclimated to his new home and people. He is very friendly and curious about new cats but has never been exposed to dogs or young children. Darius is just starting to play with toys, but mostly enjoys lounging and watching out the window being near his human and kitty friends.

ANGELS ARE OFTEN DISGUISED AS ADOPTERS If you’ve been following Colette’s story, then we have a surprise for you. After spending a year and seven months in palliative foster care for a life-limiting heart condition, Colette caught the eye of an adopter who also happens to be a veterinarian! We weren’t actively looking for a home for Colette so this took us by surprise as well, but we couldn’t deny the perfect fit this was for Colette. On August 28, Colette finally got her very own family which consists of two adult humans, a human sister and two furry siblings the same age! Colette is living her best life and we couldn’t possibly have asked for more if we tried!

💕Hansel Fip Update💕 (7month old, Blue cream tabby, British Shorthair) Share this post, please. Let’s save more cats. We’re in this together. 84 days of Fip Treatment 39 days down 🙌 45 to go Then the 84 observation period. Next week it’ll be a blood test to check the all important values. At day 30 we switched from injections to pills! Boy, was he feeling better because even with gabapentin to take off the edge, he was kicking, flipping, twisting, turning and screaming feline profanity at injection time. Now with Churu and pills there is no dread for either of us❤️ Fip is no longer a death sentence!! Can you help cover his meds and testing? It’s about $2500.00 to treat because he’s getting a double dose because of neuro symptoms. If you’ve got questions, we’d love to chat!
