Just 6 of many young adults who are waiting for forever homes and often get passed over for the cute little kittens!
I get it, kittens are adorable and busy and fun! But all of these cats were kittens just a short time ago.
So for anyone looking for a calm sweet companion, young adults might be the way to go!!

UPDATE ON SHAW!❤️❤️❤️
As you may remember, in early October Shaw was found emaciated with severe skin issues on the highway by the State Park with a dead dog and live cat. The other dog had been hit and killed by a car.
Shout out to State Park worker Stacy Johnson and her crew for stepping up immediately and getting cat and Shaw to safety. Shaw escaped once but was captured again and another kind young woman was involved but I forget her name!
Please step up in post you were awesome too!
Gayle’s Rescue agreed to take Shaw into our care and begin much needed Vet work which took over 2 months to finally get her to even spay due to severity of fungus and bacteria over her entire body.Severe ear infection as well but here we are all cured!
All adoption efforts had to stop as Vet work had to be completed slowly.
Shout out to one of my Vets, Dr Ande Wegner who was with Shaw and I every step of the way!
Enter one of my workers and neighbor Meghan Murry! She was working with Shaw and falling in love with her!!
Her parents took some convincing but also fell in love with Shaw and last night surprised Meghan by making adoption official at their family Christmas party!
I too am in love with Shaw but my multiple dogs are older and they had to come first.
Shaw is signed up for her first Obedience class in January! She got lots of adoption gifts from Aunt Gayle and will live 5 doors away so I can babysit when Meghan needs me!
I was blessed that I got to care for her as she is the best dog EVER!
Sometimes you have to love them enough to let them go and Shaw belongs with Meghan and Meghan belongs with Shaw!

The Worobey family came Tuesday night and adopted the little girl in Young Colton’s arms! It was a surprise for mom Nancy and big brother Logan was making it happen.
I told them if they adopted the little sister her adoption was sponsored for Christmas!
Tonight mom Nancy and Logan returned for the little sister!
Merry Christmas and thanks to my sponsoring friends for making dreams come true! The two sisters are together forever and the whole family are totally in love with them!
More kittens still available and please don’t forget the sweet young adults waiting for homes at Gayle’s Rescue!
