Followers & friends.. we need your help 💛💛
A few weeks ago, a close individual to us found a cat barely alive, dehydrated, walking the yellow line in town. He is mostly blind and deaf, and it is a miracle he was not hit as he wouldnt be able to hear a car honking well🥺. To our surprise, this old man is the sweetest cat that there could be! We have been looking for weeks, but unfortunately have not found anyone looking for this sweet man, and he is not microchipped. He has been battling a pretty nasty URI, and after two different medications not working the way we had wished, it’s time for us to do further testing. He’s clearly older with minimal teeth left, and has lost a significant amount of weight, whether he had been lost outside alone, or mistreated, we are not sure. We have been doing our best to nurse him back to health, but we think there may be other underlying issues we need to address as well.
We would like to bring him in for a full
blood work up and potentially xrays if needed. After a kitten season far more intense than we could have ever imagined, we are extremely short on funds. One of the main reasons, we currently aren’t able to take any new animals into our rescue.
Do you have a dollar to spare to help Beaver? No amount is too small. It’s been awhile since we have asked for your help, but Beaver really needs your help now. We appreciate each and every one of our friends, supporters, and donators. If you cannot donate, please share this post. Beaver and The Dunn Right Cat Rescue family thank you from the bottom of our hearts ♥️

We will also gladly accept donations directly to our vet, you can message us for this information.
KITTEN OF THE DAY: MEET KODA!!!
Koda is the last of his litter mates looking for a home. He is fully vetted, fixed, and microchipped and is around 4 months old. He loves to make biscuits, snuggle, sleep in bed with you, and enjoys belly rubs. But with the flip of a switch, Koda can change into a ball of energy, doing laps around the house and he loves to carry his toys around in his mouth. He loves other kittens, and adult cats, so he must go to a home with another pet, or adopt a buddy for him from us. He definitely needs another energetic pet to tire him out or you may catch him doing laps at 3am.. lol. Koda is a gorgeous grey and creme marble tabby and would love to find his forever home soon. He was rescued as a little kitten and it took us 3 days to lure him out of the hole in the rocks he was living. He deserves a warm home and endless love for all of his days.. 💛
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Koda, fill out an application and send us a message. He is located in Sussex NJ.
Here is our special boy Brendan. Brendan was a cat also rescued from the same situation as our adopted girl Lillian, and Phantom, and Momma Cee Cee and kittens, and he had adopters who wanted him from nearly only his second week home. Unfortunately, after Brendan has finally received all his vet work (he was on quarantine for a few weeks), his adopters don’t want him anymore.. Why might you ask? Well, Brendan is FIV+. But this is no big deal and shouldn’t change anyone’s mind about adopting him. His current situation is proof.. he’s living perfectly fine with other cats, who are all testing negative. In the comments, I attached a photo with information about FIV+ cats and I am happy to answer any questions.
Basically, in a nutshell, here’s how FIV works.
It is NOT contagious through food, water, grooming other cats, litter boxes. FIV+ cats can live perfectly fine with FIV- cats, as Brendan is currently doing.. (but he does do best as an only cat or with another calm laid back cat, as high energy cats antagonize him, he likes to be your #1)
It is NOT a death sentence, it does NOT shorten their life, or make them “ill”. FIV means they have a compromised immune system, and as long as you keep them on a good diet and keep up with their vaccines, they usually don’t have issues. Especially at Brendan’s age. He requires NO extra care from any other ordinary cat. He’s extremely young in cat years at only 2.
The ONLY way to spread FIV, is through a deep BLOOD drawing wound. And I’m sure as you can see in this video, which by the way, was taken the first night I ever MET Brendan, he’s not hurting a fly.
He is Felv NEG, up to date on vaccines, treated with revolution plus (fleas, ticks, ear mites, and worms), neutered, and microchipped, and is looking for his forever home. Unfortunately he has now missed out on weeks of being introduced to the world because we had thought he had a promised home. Will you be his new hope for a home? ❤️

Meet sweet honey buns 💞 This docile man is estimated 2-3 years old and such a gentle soul! He gets a long great with cats all sizes and shapes, loves to snuggle in bed, loves to play with toys just like he’s a kitten, and he will never turn down relaxing in a cat condo nook. His ideal home would have another calm cat, as other animals he really bonds with and they help him come out of his shell. He is fully vetted, fixed, and microchipped. Please visit our important links pinned post at the top of our page to fill out an application. It is time for this handsome man to find his forever home! 🧡💛💜
Hi everyone! I wish I was here to share good news, but I wanted to take the time to explain what is going on in our rescue, and why applications are on hold and we haven’t been as responsive.
Pippa, our sweet solo 4 week old kitten, has not been doing well the past two days. She is not eating, not as active, and the shine in her eyes is just not there. We have been working hard to keep her going, with supportive care 24/7, and we are praying this little girl decides to fight and will start eating again soon.
Lillian, one of our new rescues from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, is 3.5 pounds as an adult cat. For reference, 12 week old kittens weigh this much. She is lethargic, and does not eat much on her own. She also, has been receiving supportive care 24/7 since rescue, but hasn’t shown much improvement yet. We are trying all we can.
Brendan, another one of our new rescues from the same hoarding situation, has become very sick with eye issues, wheezing, and is in isolation and on medications, being monitored closely 24/7.
Our mom and kittens, from this same situation, are also being closely monitored 24/7, as they were exposed to a variety of bad things from their previous environment, and some aren’t doing as well as others, and they have tested positive for every type of worm and parasite there is... even ones not their species!! They are all underweight as well, some more severely than others, so this is really is taking a toll on their little bodies, so they are ALSO on supportive care (fluids, medications, temp monitoring, syringe feeding).
We also have another litter with a bad case of coccidia, which has resulted in severe diarrhea and vomiting, the lead cause of dehydration in kittens which can become fatal incredibly fast, so these kittens are also being closely monitored 24/7 and receiving supportive care as needed.
With all that being said, I think it’s clear, A LOT is going on right now. With 24/7 supportive care, that is many da
Please help us afford medical care for our sick little girl Pippa!
She is doing better, but she is on antibiotics and not eating on her own yet, so I have to supplement (and kmr is expensive, she should technically be eating on her own by now, so she does consume a lot of kmr to fill her), and is definitely not in the clear until her URI clears up. I’ve tried syringing her mush and she refuses it still, but we will try again later today. She will need follow up exams, vaccines, more rounds of deworming, and eventually, spay and microchip.
We thank our donators for their contributions, because of you guys, we are able to help helpless babies like her! 💓

Meet sweet MACKLEMEOW 😻😻😻 he is UP FOR ADOPTION!
We don’t have much history on Macklemeow, and he was taken in as a barn cat with potential to be friendly from a shelter we work with. It was clear once we got this pretty boy home, that the shelter life was just too overwhelming for him, because he strutted out of his carrier like any normal house cat and the rest is history. He acclimated so quickly, and he does fine with other cats of all sizes. We have not tested him with dogs. He is very sweet, and loves attention. He loves to lounge out on the couch, and is very vocal when it’s time to eat. We are estimating him at around 2 years old only! He does have half a tail, we are not sure why, but it does not cause him any issues, just makes him that more special. He is fully vetted, snap negative, chipped, and fixed. If you are interested in adopting Macklemeow, please fill out an application, located at the top of our page, under our IMPORTANT LINKS POST.
help us find this sweet boy his forever home by sharing our post! ❤️
So it’s been days of us trying to get pictures of all our newborns.. and simple facts, it’s just not possible lol they are too wiggly, too squirmy. But here we are to (sort of) introduce everyone. We currently have TEN LITTERS in our rescue. And with that being said, we could REALLY REALLY USE DONATIONS. We are drowning over here in a sea of kittens. Our amazon wishlist will be posted after our posts of all our litters. Each momma will have their own post, so check out our updates that are coming!
Below, is 4 bottle babies we got in last night. All 3 tabbies are boys, and the black kitten is a girl. We are not accepting any pre approved applications until they get a little bigger. 🔆
