☀️ SUMMER PET HAZARD ALERT: Heat Stroke ☀️

Even in Montana, summer temperatures can be deadly for pets! Heat stroke can occur quickly and requires immediate attention. With high temperatures this weekend, be on the lookout for heat stroke!

🔍 Warning signs: Excessive panting, drooling, bright red gums, vomiting, collapse
🛡️ Prevention tips:
- NEVER leave pets in vehicles, even with windows cracked
- Provide constant access to shade and fresh water
- Limit exercise to cooler morning/evening hours
- Consider cooling mats and bandanas for high-risk breeds

🦁🐾 Dakota’s Grooming Report Card 🐾🦁

Meet Dakota, our lovable Aussie! He is a super sweet boy whose owners rescued him, and he needs to have his hair trimmed a bit in order to care for him the way he needs. He came in for a full groom and a sharp new lion cut, but what he really wanted was ALL the love (and gave plenty of kisses in return!).

🐾 Grooming Report Card 🐾

Arizona brought all the energy to her grooming session! She was full of personality, and while she had plenty to say (barked her way through the bath!), she was a joy to work with.

Favorite Part:

Arizona loved the brushing session the most—she leaned right into it and soaked up all the attention. Her wagging tail didn’t stop the entire time!

Chewy was an absolute good to work with—gentle, sweet, and so patient throughout the entire session. He charmed everyone with his calm demeanor and those big, soulful eyes!

Favorite Part:

Chewy loved his warm bath the most! He leaned into every scrub and wagged his tail happily during his ear cleaning. He also didn’t mind the blow dryer, which is so helpful for us!

His gorgeous coat is now soft, tangle-free, and extra fluffy—perfect for all the hugs and snuggles.
