Good weather
The weather was perfect for sent. The birds were feeding and stirring good as well great for the dogs.
Covey of 3
Well it’s been an amazing season!! The dogs have turned into machines. With this covey of 3 Declan pins them and Cash joins him. For young dogs they are doing great each time out they improve and handle birds great. I don’t get everything on video I am running deck with what I’m calling a bird dog cam. So be ready to take some dramamine videos coming soon. I’m not even carrying a gun bird contact is what I’m after there’s nothing more rewarding than watching your pup develop into a Grouse Dog. So need them alive to carry on with Letty she is next.

Murphy the Legend
This guy may make a mess at the bowl but he is sure to clean the field. It has been a great privilege to be part of this great dogs life and he sired some phenomenal pups for rough country Llewellyn that’s for sure. He will be a legend mark my words!!!

This was a fun hunt we had a blast. The 3 dogs here are 16 months and brothers they push each other and get greedy at times but what a team. You will see honoring and just good old rough country dog work out of these three.  Been a pleasure being part of these amazing dogs .

These 2 pup’s are now 7 months crazy trip it’s been.Here we are and it’s been fast but amazing at the same time lots of memories and lots more to come. Love this game it’s a great life with these setters !!!!
Almost finished one Michigan grouse other Wv.
Here is the bobcat kill it was covered up I uncovered it. There are enough feathers in the fields and shot gun shells old and new. To start a pillow company and reloading. Crazy how many water fowl there is.
What a place!! seen cock birds fly into this wind. Tuff birds. We ran a bobcat out of this canyon on backside. Later in week we seen bobcat tracks in about every field we hunted. Next video I’ll show a bobcat kill. So we were there least of the birds worry if you think of it. We are in blaze orange they hear us coming and after first shot the gig is up. There is an art to hunting the flat land just as the mtn and my favorite upper peninsula. Though I’d share I’m thinking of this stuff all the time to get better. Love it bad. Thank God every day and second I have it’s because of him I’m here.
Our first few days was so windy I could smell the Mexico restaurant in town 20 miles away.
I’m messing around here but this is some of the thickest cover I’ve ever hunted. Crazy thick I have scratches and scrapes to prove it. They can keep that stuff not your typical quail cover we connected on some in this stuff. Michigan grouse in aspen cuts are somewhat easier than the quail that’s for sure. But got to hunt where they are. 
There are some mean things called sand spurs that are devastating on the dogs feet. We had boots and that didn’t go well either. Very tough place to hunt better have some tough pups for Kansas to make a 10 day hunt.
This older man certainly wasn’t exaggerating he stayed right with us step for step. Was impressed thinking he told us he was 67 or so great shape. Thanks wisema excavating for everything this week. 
The wife had taken most of the animals and can tell exactly how and when special time to be able to see all of their trophies.
