A pair of 221’s topped the $50K Amateur Way Out West Cutting Series Go posted by Lauren Salon riding Smart Time Kat (Dual Smart Rey x Prime Time Kat) and Faith Showalter riding Metallic Missy (Metallic Cat x Mereyda) to finish out the day. A 217.5 or better was need to advance to the final round.

Great week at Montrose to start the summer off!

🏅 Todd won the Open Derby one day on Reysin Hell owned by Penny Bailey.

🌟 Won checks in the 5/6 Open on Tagginmesgonnabetuff ”Reba” owned by Rhonda Mitchell and Hashtags My Girl “Rizzo” owned by Linda Searles.

🥇Kim won the Non Pro Derby on Octaviois.

🥇Sara Chamberlin won the 5/6 Non Pro on Talkin Jive.

🏆Susie Meyer was Res Champion in the 15Am in the Cowan Ranch Qualifier and Won a buckle on Make Me Purr “Purdy”!
