Ok what have I done...I bought two AKC Papillon boys, the better question is why...
I have been looking hard for a female or 2 completely unrelated to my boys and that has been very hard to find. However I could find a couple of boys out of show lines with no relation. But when looking at them I struggled to make a decision between them, picking a future sire is very hard at 9 weeks, so I bought both. My plan is to genetic test them this week, upon both tests coming in good, I will keep the boys till 8 month to a year, giving myself time to watch them grow and mature, maybe get a couple of shows in. Also have other health testing looked at so I can make the best decision for my breeding program, I then will rehome the other boy into a perfect home for him.
They both are very promising boys and I look forward to watching them grow. This will give me options to keep a girl here and there from my own program as I will have 3 different male lines when it's all said and done, Aragorn, Gimli and the new young man. I have some names in mind and will share that once I make a final decision. It was a long day, happy to be home, the new boys have settled in and all the other dogs have made their rounds to say Hi.

I wanted to take a moment and talk about Microchips-
In the last year and half many of you know I have gone to microchipping every puppy and registering the chip through AKC Reunite for the new owners. So why is this important and what is your responsibility?
It is important because pets go missing every day, collars and tags come off, this is your pets ID, their voice to get back home.
Your responsibility is to keep your info current with AKC Reunite. When I enroll your pet it has just your basic info, you need to add alternate contacts (as many as you'd like), you vet info, a picture is great and any notes necessary. If something changes, update you acct. Also I suggest encouraging you vet to scan you dog- I have noticed that not all vets are scanning when a dog comes in, and not all people who find your pet are honest, so if vets aren't scanning, then dogs lost in the system aren't being discovered, so don't be shy ask you vet if they are scanning dogs they don't know. And finally, if your pet goes missing on of the first things you should do is Report A Lost Pet on AKC Reunite. This is how they know.

I apologize if I haven't gotten back to you, yes the 2 boy's are still available, I have been extremely sick all week, still struggling but will try to get back to anyone interested in one of them. Even though they are mostly Papillon, I think they are part cat lol....this is bubba gumps fun game

One last check before bed led.to a trip to the barn, just in time to welcome this little girl into the world. My second Blue baby and I couldn't be happier. Pictures to follow.

Look at this beautiful girl... It seams everyone lately has been anti the black pups, I get everyone has their preference, I know I do, but I to meet them is to love them. Tay has the sweetest personality, a little reserved and will be the type to bond to one person for life most likely, but that one person will be her whole world....I get to enjoy her in the meantime untill her perfect someone comes along.

While I raise miniature equines, I still have my one old quarter horse, my old barrel horse, my buddy that has taken me on some amazing trail rides down the Kansas river and beautiful views of the Kentucky hills, through city streets and the open lands of home. We have been together since he was 2, we have been through a lot together and he truly is my longest relationship lol...I just wanted to share a glimps of my boy at 26 and retired, still gets around pretty good...especially when grain is involved lmao.

GREETINGS, MY NAME IS NIKKI CROSEN. I AM LOCATED JUST OUTSIDE THE SMALL TOWN OF DAVENPORT, A WONDERFUL RURAL COMMUNITY THAT I GREW UP AROUND AND FOUND MY WAY BACK TO. I GREW UP IN 4-H AND HAD A LOVE FOR ANIMALS, BUT THOSE SWEET LITTLE EQUINES STILL FILL MY HEART. IT STARTED WITH A COUPLE OF RESCUES, REHABILITATING, AND FINDING THEM PERFECT HOMES TO DECIDING TO PUT TOGETHER MY OWN HERD. THEY HAVE FILLED ME WITH MUCH LOVE AND JOY, THEY ARE FAMILY, AND THAT'S WHAT I LOOK FOR WHEN IT'S TIME FOR ONE TO GO .... ​IS FAMILY.

​I started raising miniature donkeys, horses and mules in 2009. Most of my herd started out as grade stock that came from registered stock, but papers were never acquired for lack of someone previously sending them in - I was ok with that. Now my mini horses are registered with one or more of the 3 registries (AMHA,AMHR, WCMHR). I look for great confirmation and excellent disposition in my herd. My goal is to raise quality animals that can fill versatile roles, from 4-H, pet, service animal, shows, or just someones perfect companion. All of my foals are handled from birth, have been in my house and raised with love. I want the perfect home for them - it's a must!
