Peaches and Daisy’s pups had their vet check up today. All were perfect! My vet loved them and said a few times —“what good pups”. It’s an enormous amount of work, sweat, tears, and sacrifice to raise healthy pups with exceptional temperaments. Two of the things that assure me we are on the right track is our vets raving compliments and the feedback we get from our puppy families. It makes it all worth it!!! Penny had her micro goldendoodles right before Christmas. Dec 21. 3 girls. 1 cream, 1 apricot, one dark red. They weren’t warm enough so I moved them by the wood stove. Now they are content. No crying. Just sleeping and nursing. A newborn puppy really only cries if she’s cold, hungry, or hurt. One way I know our new babies are doing good when I don’t hear a peep and they are steadily gaining weight.
I’m enjoying sitting by the fire watching these sweet pups. Is there anything sweeter?

Our F1 Goldendoodle out for a car ride. Starlet is an old lady but she doesn’t know it. She’s active and healthy. Pushing 11 yrs old now. So many of our puppies call her grandma, great grandma, even third great grandma. She had pups when she was young but now is retired living out her best life with us. We love her so much. Kindest, calmest, sweetest, easiest dog ever.

It’s SO important for puppies to learn that a crate is a GOOD thing. Although you might think - oh I’ll never crate my puppy- there are times when they may need to be crated (at the groomer, vet appts, while traveling…). We start early with crate training and it becomes a den/ safe place for them.
