Congress 2024 is all wrapped up!

We had a great show, learned tons, took Demi to her first Congress, showed 4 horses, found new homes for two horses, and had a few placings in the showmanship and some finalists in other classes.

Bryant showed for the first time at the Congress and all three horses were so good! We are so thankful for clients who made it possible for Bryant to show. We are also thankful for great attitudes when our best goes maybe didn’t warrant the call backs or placings we were hoping for. There was so much growth amongst teams, and we will be working hard for next year!

A big congratulations goes out to Hancock Horsemen who had the Sr. high champion team and Jr. High top 5 team! It’s always a joy to help coach this team.

Dee is looking for a job!

We would love to provide an in barn lease for “Dee Only Chip” to someone looking to learn how to ride. She is a 21 year old horse that has grown up with Charity. Dee showed in 4-h with Charity, went to the University of Findlay with Charity, and still has a home with us…..so you can imagine how much she means to us. She is very plump and would love to work for more carrots🥕🥕but really best suited for someone learning to ride. She is a saintly, small, loving horse who would be great for a little human! We attend quarter horse shows often and occasionally open shows, so there could be the possibility of showing if you’d like.

The EOQHA show was a great show to practice at just before the Congress! We are getting excited for October!

The Fall Extravaganza was a great show with great numbers. Thank you to our amazing clients for showing up with a positive attitude, great work ethic, and dedication to the team! Thank you to NOQHA for hosting an awesome show. Every team had placings and personal wins!

Quick highlights:
▪️Alyssa King-reserve high point level one youth
▪️Kayla Thomas-wins in the level one equitation and best pleasure class this year
▪️Angela Paugh-great placings in deep amateur equitation classes and upgraded to rommel reins in the ranch
▪️Lauren Hall-made us nervous about pointing out of level one with a phenomenal showmanship go and great placings
▪️Tammy Royer-placed on all three cards in the W/T pleasure with a 2nd under one judge
▪️Demi got to attend again
