🌱✨ A huge thank you to for the incredible opportunity to share my passion for growing certified organic microgreens with 6,500 students in Western Nevada County as part of this month’s Farm to School Program! 🌿

Teaching the next generation about the beauty of sustainable, organic farming and the benefits of incorporating microgreens into their meals has been an absolute joy. Watching students engage, learn, and taste fresh, nutritious greens has been such a rewarding experience!

Here’s to nurturing healthy habits, supporting local agriculture, and inspiring young minds to connect with the food they eat. 💚

As these projects start rolling I get to reflect where this all started in my backyard. Working 100 hours a week 40 for CDCR and 60 for this business. Getting the keys to the facility learning how to drive construction equipment and build things. Hugging the greenhouse and praying at 2am that it doesn’t blow away during my first storm. The people. I’ve met, my mentors and sharing my story with. I never thought I would farm Growing up if you knew me, I was headed in the direction and wanted to be famous and sing and dance and act and model… music still fills my soul and I’m going to incorporate it in, “ Microgreens and Music” Yet I love farming and connecting with the community and teaching the next generation and my children how to do the same, it fills my heart. Trust me I’ve missed out on a lot of time from my family and my friends but I thank each and everyone of you for understanding and thank you for coming on this journey with me….
