We have started Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS). This will have benefits for the balance of each pups life, to include better tolerance to stress, stronger resistance to disease, faster adrenal system, as well as stronger heart rate & heart beat, Our goal is to provide a solid foundation for a great life for each of Belle’s puppies!

Daily weight checks for the first few weeks are important and especially important for any smaller or “runty” puppies. Puppies cannot afford to lose weight at this age, and the sooner any failure to gain weight (and/or loss) is noticed, the sooner it can be remedied.
Fortunately, Belle (our puppy mama) is a master of her milk machine duties. And, each of her pups are heat seeking milk missiles!!

We did a little gardening today and harvested some puppies! (Just kidding— just had a little photoshoot by the garden) Puppies are two weeks old. Their eyes are opening up and they are starting to see and interact with the world. They are starting to show personality and play!!!!! They are learning their voices and learning to growl and yip. Still a little unsteady on their feet, but their learning more everyday!

There is no greater hope than that of a puppy. Where will their journey take them? Who’s hearts will they heal? What laughter will they bring? What comfort will they provide? What adventures will they go on?
So much hope in such a tiny package for now. They will learn, grow, and be guided while here. Will they prefer a quiet home? Love to have young children to raise? Have lots of energy or be a couch potato?
Time will tell…
But for now, they are surrounded by mama and lots of loving human hands.
