We were surprised with letters of thanks from the wonderful young ladies of Girls on the Run of South Central Wisconsin! 💕 Each of these thoughtful ladies took the time to write such heartwarming letters of appreciation to our team for all they do for pets...and we are so very appreciative! They are tremendously appreciated EVERY SINGLE DAY, but this week we are doing a little extra celebrating to show our appreciation to this team of dedicated, highly-skilled, talented, caring, and compassionate individuals. Today is National Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day. Lymphoma is a relatively common cancer, accounting for 15-20% of new cancer diagnoses in dogs. It is most common in middle-aged and older dogs, with several breeds being predisposed.

After a diagnosis of osteosarcoma in June and a rear leg amputation, we are celebrating Bella's final chemotherapy treatment! 🎉 Bella's whole family came to her oncology appointment to cheer on this three-legged champion! 💕

Happy National Cat Day! 🐈 Today is a day to celebrate the independence, adventurous nature, and inquisitiveness of those felines that have stolen our heart.

Our Specialty Supervisor and Certified Veterinary Technician's cat, Liam knows exactly how to properly celebrate the day...and every day. He suggests to his fellow felines finding the comfiest spot to your liking (it doesn't matter if it's human approved or not), basking in the sun for as long as you want, perfecting your "I need treats immediately" look so you don't miss a single opportunity, and most importantly to get all the snuggles from your favorite humans. 💕

Badger and his family are all smiles after his 2-week recheck appointment following TPLO surgery on both knees because...Dr. Kierski gave him the "okay" to go on short, restricted walks twice a day! 🎉 Keep up the spectacular healing, buddy and enjoy those walks! ❤

We are proud to be a sponsor and supporter of Czar's Promise from the very beginning and we had a spectacular time at their annual Inspiring Hope Walk this past weekend! Thank you to everyone that stopped by to say hello. We had so much fun chatting with everyone...and giving out all those belly rubs. 🐾

And, a huge thank you and congratulations to Czar's Promise as they raised over $113,000 to help fund pediatric and companion animal cancer research AND support local families whose pets have received a cancer diagnosis. 💕

🐾This week is National Veterinary Technician Week and we're giving a big PAWS UP for the amazing veterinary technicians that we are so fortunate to have in our hospitals. 🐾

Our technical staff wears many hats and they wear each of them with the utmost compassionate care. They are integral players on the veterinary healthcare team who work tirelessly, using their vast technical and scientific knowledge to care for every animal we treat. At any given moment they can be a teacher, radiology tech, surgical assistant, receptionist, friend, anesthesia tech, lab tech, pharmacy tech, counselor, paramedic, and many more...but at the core of it all...the title that they hold at all times...animal lover. ❤

Thank you to all of our veterinary technicians for doing all you do for pets...and their people. We can't wait to celebrate you ALL WEEK LONG!

We’ll be here until 2pm providing pet first aid (if it’s needed) and handing out lots of goodies. Stop by and see us!

We are honored to be supporting our friends at Czar's Promise as a Guardian sponsor of the walk to help support local families whose pets have received a cancer diagnosis and fund cancer research to find a cure!
