Meet Doc: A Gentle Giant Looking for His Forever Family
Doc is a stunning 7-month-old male Greater Swiss Mountain Dog (Swissy) puppy born on March 4, 2024. This handsome fellow is in need of a new loving home due to unforeseen circumstances.
About Doc:
• Breed: Greater Swiss Mountain Dog
• Age: 7 months
• Gender: Male
• Weight: Currently growing, expected to reach around 100 lbs as an adult
• Training: Currently enrolled in professional training with Viatoris Dog Training
Personality:
Doc is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. He adores children and has been living harmoniously with another dog since he was 8 weeks old, demonstrating his friendly and sociable nature.
Health:
• Up-to-date on all vaccinations
• Not neutered
Why Doc Needs a New Home:
Doc's current elderly owners love him dearly but have realized they cannot provide the physical care a large, energetic breed requires. They are heartbroken to part with him but understand it's in Doc's best interest to find a home that can meet his needs.
Ideal Home:
We're seeking an active family or individual who:
• Has experience with large breed dogs
• Can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation
• Has a secure, fenced yard
• Is committed to continuing Doc's training
Adoption Process:
Interested adopters will be thoroughly screened to ensure the best match for Doc.
This includes:
• An in-depth interview
• Home visit
• Meeting with Doc and his current family

The Reader’s Choice Awards is published every year and it displays favorite Lancaster County businesses based on votes by readers.

This year, we placed 3rd in dog training and as a WRITE-IN option!

Guys, I’m so appreciative and in awe of all of the support you have given me. I started my business in 2021 during Covid only a dog trainer and since then I’ve added more services such as walks, boarding, (from my home as I don’t have a kennel) and in-home dog sitting.

This is my full time job and I am the ONLY employee, (besides Jorah and Ranger). I try my best and work my butt off so this means the world to me. I couldn’t have done it without support from my family and friends and of course you guys!

Looking forward to what the future holds and to helping more of those in my community.
