Ewing Family Cane Corsos AKC registered, health tested, family raised Cane Corsos in Southern Illinois. Raised in the home with children. Handled and socialized daily.

We start pups on potty training, crate training, and basic obedience before going home. Just wanted to share a few tips and recommendations that we have for new puppy owners.

-puppies should have first vet check within 3-5 days
-keep vaccinations UTD even into adulthood
-worm puppies as directed (we recommend Heartgard monthly once old enough)
-regular flea treatment in warm months (we recommend

Bravecto)
-crate training is a very effective tool (we begin this with our pups prior to going home)
-socialize your puppy regularly
-this breed should go to a handler experienced with larger breeds
-when training be firm and consistent. training should start as soon as you take your puppy home
-aggression from your puppy is NEVER acceptable and must be corrected immediately
-puppy behaviors such as biting and jumping should not be tolerated. Your puppy will quickly grow to a size that will be hard to control so establish dominance early.
-once you get your puppy home, keep your puppy within your sight at all times until you can trust it

Unfortunately we do not have enough interest at this time to ensure our puppies will have a good home. We will be holding off with breeding for a spring litter. We apologize for any inconvenience this creates but we want to be sure our puppies will have good homes to go to.
