Coming soon to a store near you! “The Artisan Outlet” is the Etsy of brick and mortar stores. being created to support local artist in a way that online outlets can’t do! We are working with retail store owners and the local artists surrounding them. Through the development process of this start up, we have found that store owners want to work with and support local makers, however this task is difficult administratively and simply is not a feasible option when running their business. Local makers want their products in stores, but this is not an easy task when considering the current business practices of buying cheap products from china through a distributer and earning the necessary profits to succeed. Can you imagine having your product placed in dozens of stores local to you? You can tell the world you are in these stores and the stores will love to have dozens of artists promoting their brick and mortar(so it’s a win-win). The store gets increased revenue from the non- competing added products as well as increased foot traffic. The artist has ability to have steady stream of revenue through The Artisan Outlet and brand recognition which customers can then discover other products they have for sell and buy directly from them. *Important*: now more than ever do we need to support each other. Do we really want to live in a world where all your possessions are made around the world, and the resources you used in exchange for those possessions are going to to who knows where(certainly not you local soap maker or jewelry maker, etc) . Let’s make things and trade amongst each other. The ripple effect of buying local will change our lives and our future will look brighter than ever.
