This is an interesting look at a foundered hoof. Notice how much toe there is and how deformed the plantar cushion is. Also, from the foot being at such a low angle, you can see how stressed the flexor tendon is. The horse was trying to relieve the pain by walking/standing on its heels, creating a hoof where the heel is worn down and the toe overgrown.
