We have one new Daystay spot available starting mid-October! Ideal candidates are high-energy herding breed canines in need of a constructive, training based approach to day care. Daystays are a fun 'day at the farm' centered around biological fulfillment: running, playing, and working on training essentials so they're happy, balanced canines when they go back home.

These gorgeous 12 week old Australian Shepherds (AKC & ASCA reg) are in search of their families. They are both confident and sweet as can be. Both are very social and 'in your pocket' companions. They've had a great start to life and will be best suited for active pet homes who may want to dabble in dog sports.

One Q In the Books!
We're so proud of handling student Perry for his Qualifying Score in Started Ducks with Jess! To complete his AKC Title Perry needs to earn two more Q's under different judges. Since Perry has infrequent access to stock work his owners sent him to stay with us and practice up for this trial for a couple weeks and it was a delight to have him and bond in the work on both sheep and ducks.
Herding B&T is one of our favorite programs we offer, teaching dogs calm & control with the livestock is biologically enriching for the dogs as much as it's captivating for the trainer.
Congrats Mr. Perry! We'll see you again in October 🏅

Welcoming Ghost to our Two Week Board & Train Program
Mr. Ghost is with us to nip some problematic car chasing behaviors in the bud and build a rock solid recall under heavy distraction. Ghost has a big career helping run a sheep farm in his future and we're enjoying setting this guy up for success. In addition to his behavioral work we're getting him started on sheep so his mom can start teaching him all the jobs he'll help her accomplish once he's grown up.

First In-Home Private Lesson for Spy & Toki. They're classic Shelties--whip smart and very opinionated. Such a fun lesson working on some frustrating herd-y behaviors at home.

Lives Full of Liberty.
Pants is out running with the big girls 🐾. Dogs are tremendous social learners and we like to use this to our benefit when safe & possible. Pants learned her recall one-on-one and had 100% success calling off smelly distractions and out of play. The world is a trained dog's oyster 🦪🦪

Having a blast working on dog reactivity and leash fluency with our Daystay Rocky 💚 He was the best boy passing other dogs and staying focused on his handler.
Rocky isn't traditionally food driven so motivating him in training sessions can be tricky. We're utilizing personal play and some toy play to help build up that confidence and help him stay calm and collected around triggers.
