We are happy to announce that Street Cat to Sweet Cat Callie has found her forever home. The world works in mysterious ways. Of all of the minutes in a day, this sweet girl was in the right place at the right time. When she first came to me, I was more focused on fixing her wounds. After the first few weeks, it was clear she wanted to be loved but on her terms. The other cats in the rescue made I hard for her to let her guard down but seemed to thrive in foster. I am always grateful to foster fails. It is the biggest success ever.

Street Cat to Sweet Cat Hazel is about 7 weeks old. She had her first vet visit last week. She tested negative for parasites, received her first shot, and given a preventative for fleas. She weighs just about 1.5 lbs. This little sweetie is right on track. She is pre adopted, and we will not be accepting applications.

I remember the day like it was yesterday. It was wet and rainy, and a little emaciated white kitty ran right up to me as I was feeding one of my colonies. Covered in fleas and a severely wounded neck, I took this poor girl home. Fattening her up and teaching her how to play was the easy part. The wound on her neck took several months to heal. A year and a half later, not one application has come in for this sweet girl. Street Cat to Sweet Cat Callie is looking for a home of her own. She would do best as an only cat. I wanted to thank my volunteers yesterday with a meal from one of my favorite spots. I love their fresh and vibrant flavors and colors. Volunteers are so valuable to me to help provide the best care possible to the cats I save. I appreciate all that you do from transport, pick up a d drop off to vet appointments, feeding, cleaning, laundry, fostering, and putting up with my grumpy self. Thank you, Anna, Dina, Karen, Carol, Alexandra, Celia, and Mariel. I would also like to thank Dominic, Fabiana, and Brisa. Your hard work and sacrifice doesn't go unnoticed. I look forward to working with you all, and our next meal will be epic.

Six months ago, I came across a sick and struggling colony in the south ward of Newark. I TNR'ED(trap, neuter, return)most of the colony, and I think there is only 1 straggler. Many were rescued and adopted, but Sweet Cat Raymond struggled with respiratory infections and skin issues. Today, Sweet Cat Raymond was adopted. Thank you to everyone who loved him along the way and to those who will love him in the future.
