We had to lay our beautiful Dixie to rest yesterday. I know that she has had the most perfect, fun and beautiful first full day in heaven, and although my heart hurts, I am so happy for her. I wanted to participate in this exchange, in her honor. ♥️🐾

Just a friendly reminder. Cherish every moment with those babies! ♥️🐾

No one tells you how quickly dogs age. How one day you wake up and suddenly their face is all white, how their eyes start to seem more milky than before, how you have to call their name a few more times than you used to.

People tell you not to blink when you have children, but what about the dog who was with you before your children were even thought of? The dog who was by your side before you found the love of your life, the dog who jumped from apartment to apartment in your early 20’s. No one tell’s you to cherish every moment you have with them…

Cherish the dog. The one who’s been there through every break up and every dumb fight with your best friend. That dog who slept in the bed with you when you were lonely and made you feel safe when you left home. Cherish him, because one day you’ll take him on a walk and he’ll start to get tired before you and you’ll realize just how many years he’s been walking by your side.

I can’t let 2022 end without thanking you all for your support over the last seven months. Because of you all, I am able to live out a literal dream, and stay home to raise my daughter, while helping others and loving on animals.

I figured you other pet owners could get a laugh out of this…

Maddie and I vacuumed yesterday… Yes, she helped. 😉🤪 However, with three inside dogs, of course the floors are already dirty today. I had just put on todays clean clothes and wanted to sit in the floor to play with Maddie; so, I got a clean towel to sit on. We played for a bit and then I picked her up to nurse her and when I looked down, Abby had stolen my clean towel. Just in this room alone, there’s a couch, loveseat, recliner, two dog beds, a comforter just for the dogs, and a blanket for the dogs….. and she wanted MY CLEAN TOWEL! 🤣♥️🐾

If you notice my pants are covered in dog hair (as they always are) mind your business. I wouldn’t have it any other way! ♥️♥️

I completely missed the date, but y’all, we have officially had Baby Kingston for one year now! A lot has changed around here, but we made it! If we had the chance to do it all again, we definitely would. His smile is worth it! He is such a joy! ♥️🐾

Sweet Zoey girl had never been alone before, and she wasn’t feeling up to eating; so, I took food outside, where she felt most comfortable with me, and she ate from my hand until she was ready to finish her meal on her own.

Always leave your babies with someone trustworthy and kind.
