What is a “forever foster home” you ask? It’s when an animal like our sweet Barbara is placed in a loving home with ongoing support from our organization. After a life of pain and betrayal, Barbara has undergone two life-saving surgeries and successfully completed behavior modification training. Through it all her optimism prevailed! Way to go Barbara! Would you like to become a sponsor to help fund Barbara’s care?!

Looking for a fun, effective, low pressure way to polish your pup's social skills? Drop in to our Dog Walking Group Class any Saturday! We meet at 10:00 am in Central Park in Santa Clarita in front of the community gardens. Classes are led by an experienced trainer. What to bring: a well fitted harness, a large bag of high value food (think meats not treats), and an open mind! Cost: $20 donation per pet to benefit the Animal Foster Network!

Happy Sunday everyone! We are needing a transport for our precious Barbara (pictured here) from her temporary foster in San Diego to Newhall on August 1. We will pay your gas. Anyone up for the task? She rides very easily in the car. She also has a large crate that can be flattened but needs to be transported with her. Let us know. ☮️🐾

Newhall, CA- AFN is proud to introduce Cowboy! This 1.5 year old dream pup is so loving and playful! His favorite activities are playing chase in the yard, training through games and learning new tricks! (Training video in the comments) His previous family lost their housing and we’re living in their car to avoid taking him to a shelter, that’s when we found about him and just had to make space. He is Neutered and up to date on his shots. He’s still in training but will be looking for his forever home in a couple of weeks. Last night we had cone incident, but luckily Chelsea (devoted AFN volunteer/ trainer came to the rescue with a new cone and duct tape) you can see our artistic endeavors pictured below!
