Chica Bella is starting to feel a whole lot better!
Hi all! We are giving an update on Chica…❤️❤️ she is starting to feel and look at least on the outside a whole lot better! Her skin is starting to heal, and her hair is growing back, we have other things under control too like parasites. Now starts the big journey to better health and getting the heartworm under control. It won’t be easy and it will take at least six months plus, but we are dedicated to giving her a better life. Thank you to all who have already donated to get her this far. She will be moving out of the veterinary and into care with our superhero Leila who handles all our toughest cases. Look at how this girl is so happy she has such a beautiful fun, loving nature. Your donations to continue her treatments for her care and treatment are greatly appreciated. @poochesoutofpuerorico & @POOPRs on Venmo or DM us❤️🩹❤️🩹🐕
Folks this never stops. We were alerted to Chica’s case by fellow rescue group Street Dog Guardians …she was dumped on Playa Guayanes with pups. They have placed her pups but there was no solution to mom’s case. She was diagnosed with heartworm amongst a myriad of other issues as are evident in the video. We have decided to take her case as she was to be euthanized. We picked her up today she will spend the next one to two weeks at the vet and then she will rehabilitate with our rock star Leila Silva who as many of you remember managed to save and bring back to health the ‘stone puppies’ (another left on the beach pair of pups in horrific condition…now happy to say living their best lives happy and healthy!! We know the same will be true for this ~ 2 year old female that deserves so oh more than the life that was handed to her. Despite her condition she wags her tail and greets you and is happy. If you can help with her recovery care please donate any amount to @poochesoutofpuertorico … this will not be quick and we will likely keep asking until she is well enough to fly. Of course we will keep updating. 🙏 Leila for always working with us on the tough ones. #nodogleftbehind #satoproud #satostrong #rescuedog #HelpUsHelpThem #donatetoday
This boy is named after a Taino Indian Chief from the 1400’s…if that’s not lining him up for an extraordinary right?? His name is Guarionex and he is 2.5 months old and he is 11 lbs. We do hope he can fly soon either way a flight angel! If you know anyone traveling from PR to NY/NJ let us know. We’d love to see this boy snug as a bug in a rug before the holiday period approaches. He was rescued in Trujillo Alto as an abandoned stray. Just one of hundreds of thousands Times are difficult all around and we are grateful for any help we can get. 🐾❤️🐶🙏✈️ #rescuepuppy #satostrong #puertoricanrescue #rescueismyfavoritebreed #poochesoutofpuertorico
Message us on how you can help foster or rescue one of these amazing dogs. I never quite knew a love like the one I have with my rescue boy and now with my foster fur baby CJ. They have so much love to give! #satoproud #poochesoutofpuertorico #fosterneeded
Sadie Sadie Sadie … sadly Sadie had too much energy for her adopter. She’s with us again until the perfect home comes along that can love this little spitfire …
Kids…yes please she loves playing
Other dogs … my bigger female that’s dominant will take a bit of time but Sadie is an outgoing friendly girl that likes to play with dogs. In other words she’s in on all action!
About 2 years old, sterilized and UTD on all shots and preventative meds
Sadie is best for sn active family or single/couple that loves the outside and spends time on hikes etc. She’s very agile!
She also loves to 🥰 cuddle!
The underbite is too cute ☺️

Let’s help get Blaze, Johnny, Jax, and James a real home with a family to call their own. These boys were to be TNR’d to live their lives on the beach but when they crave human touch like these do it’s very difficult to stay the course. So the course must change: you can help! Share this message and ask your friends to share. This picture looks beautiful right? Living life on a beach may look beautiful but it’s also hard not knowing where your next meal will come from, where you’ll go when there is a storm, who will take care of you when you get sick from eating roadkill iguanas, never getting proper health care which leads to your early, and often dreadful, demise. They deserve a shot at being a little spoiled and much loved and we are confident we can all get that for these boys! #satolife #puertoricobeachdogs #rescuedog #rescuepuppies #satoproud #satostrong #rescuelife #beachdogs
