🌺 CELEBRATE MIKE 🌺

Our community has come together quickly to make sure Mike’s memory and his loved ones are not forgotten! Everyone was family to Mike; and the most fitting celebration we can think of is to bring together his food truck family to keep you well fed! Participating food trucks will be making donations to Mike’s family, we’ll be donating a portion of our sales from the day, and there will be other opportunities here to donate and help! We can’t thank y’all enough for the love you’ve shown to Mike’s loved ones over the last few days. Let’s get together one more time on Sunday, February 25th, to raise a glass to Mike! 🍻

Today, we're reminded of the less lighter side of this business industry.

Mia and her brother, Jimmy, came to me as a client after Liz met them and fell in love with them while working in Seaside in 2021.

All of my clients pets are like my own family but it’s a different bond when you get to spend long days and one on one time with them while their owners are away.

Mia, your presence and endless affection were a blessing! Liz and I are so lucky to have known you! 😇Rest peacefully, Mia. You definitely left paw prints on our hearts! 🐾

*Remember that even the water or a little pollen from lilies can kill or cause severe neurological & organ damage in cats. Don't have them in your house if you have cats!! If you even think your cat came in contact, call poison control & see a vet immediately.
Pine needles and water are not on this list, but can also be a danger.

One thing they don’t talk about in this business is the bond and attachment you form with each dog.

Meet Spud! You’ve probably seen him before on my page. I met Spud through a client referral. When I first started walking Spud, his parents told me he was “like a sack of potatoes.” and they weren’t wrong!😂

With each passing day that I walked Spud, he quickly found out that when I showed up, it was time for a WALK! 😆

While this was challenging at times, Spud and I formed a special bond together. He was special enough to be able to spend a weekend with myself and my animal family, in our own home, and would always recognize me if we ran into him at Joe’s Bayou while paddle boarding! (specifically bringing me the ball to throw)

The military has other plans for Spud’s parents therefore forcing them to move across the country.

While some might think this is “just a business”, it’s so much more than that! So, rest assured that each dog I encounter is treated just like my own… family ❤️🐾🦴

Update: foster found!!🚨SOS.🚨Emergency short term foster needed. Salem is being returned due to no fault of his own, but I am out of town and literally have nowhere for him to go!! Does anyone have the capacity to take in this sweet boy for a short term situation until I figure out a longer placement/find him another home??
