"Go sniff!" is a wonderful activity to help relax your dog and allow them the opportunity to express their natural instincts.

Mac and I do both "training walks" and "go sniff walks" for different goals and types of enrichment.

Allowing your dogs to sniff their environments provides them the ability to "see" their environment in a meaningful way to them, reduce stress and anxiety, as well as help them gain confidence by giving them the choice of which route to take. It's like the dog-way to check social media!

Make sure to find a nice quiet place, give them a command like, "Go, sniff!" and make sure you keep slack in the leash so they aren't distracted from their lovely scent walk.

Meet us! Well, some of us, at least. For those of you here who don't know some or all of us here in my sphere, this is me, Lori, and my dog, Mac. Or Mac and me if you prefer picture order.
