To all of the ECFC barrel racing campers!
I ended up with 2,200 pictures from the weekend to sort through and edit. I’m doing my best to work through them. It may be a week or so before I get them all done.

Y’all please help spread the word!
Open to the public, FREE admission.
🔴 NEW INFORMATION ADDED 🔴

🔹Open to ALL parishes (children must be enrolled in 4-H to participate)
🔹Buckles to champion of each event in both age groups
🔹Cool prizes for reserve and third place as well
🔹Participation award for the first 50 kids who registered
🔹All Around Award being donated by The Saddle Shop (Mr Ron Francois)
🔹A brand new award is also being added for barrel racers and pole benders
🔹 Awards will be handed out at the end of the show this year

Registration will be open the day of the show!

I need anyone who is roping this day to pre-register to ensure we have enough calves for everyone.
‼️ Speed event riders ‼️
Helmets will be necessary to run barrels, flags, poles, and stakes.
‼️All participants ‼️
Not requiring full western dress; boots and jeans are required. (no tank tops please)

FPA Ride Day Change for this week!

Unfortunately sometimes things happen beyond our control and this week a scheduling adjustment has caused us to have to shift the original scheduled Ride Day, Wednesday July 10, to a new day this week …. Friday July 12. We’ve never held a Ride Day on a Friday because we usually have events, so this will definitely be an experiment. We will have the pen open an extended hour also….so the Ride Day will go from 10AM - 9PM on this day. We hope this will accommodate some folks that may not normally get to come. We didn’t wanna all together cancel this week, so this is the best we could do. Please help us spread the word. As always, $5/horse brought to the facility. Thanks for y’all’s understanding and patience.

Registration will be open the day of the show! However, asking everyone to register by July 16 if possible, to ensure we have enough participation awards and calves to rope.
